Work started on September 1, 2021 by Case Tree Service to remove 12 trees from our property. This included complete removal including stumps from trees. On September 2, 2021 the crew from Case Tree Service damaged our 30 foot flag pole by backing equipment into it and snapping it. When the flag pole was broken, it then damaged the concrete pad in the path of the falling pole. This is a heavy duty pole that was placed there by the original owner who is a veteran. It is a major part of our community. The owner, Cliff, was on site during tree removal and was made aware immediately of the damage and the damage was observed by Cliff and my husband and a resolution to fix everything was promised that it would all be replaced and done correctly. On September 3, 2021 the owner, Cliff, asked for full payment of $8,200 several hours before he completed the job and we complied. He was rushing to try and finish our job as it was Friday. When we informed him that he missed one stump and still needed to repair the damage he caused, he assured us he would be back on Monday to complete it. We were happy with his work so far and were happy with the conversation we had with him, believed he would be back on Monday, so we paid him the full amount of $8,200 on this day. We have tried for six months to work this out with him. The first few times we spoke he kept assuring us it would be taken care of but always seemed to have an excuse. The last time he responded to a text was November 18, 2021 and he came to our home and took one of the sections of the flag pole that broke and we have never heard from him again. So he now has one of our poles also. We tried in January to contact, waiting until after the holidays and now again last week we reached out by phone call, text and ******** to no avail. Our resolution is that Case Tree Service come immediately and remove the final stump and replace the flag pole as it was originally built and concrete pad or refund.

I’ve taken care of the replacement of the flagpole, and just to clear it up the man I have been dealing with is **** not his wife or daughter nevertheless he and I have been talking about everything and yes it took a little while to replace the flagpole but not once did I ever refuse to replace it as the wife said in her comments I’ve never spoken with her or her daughter only **** , The ball on top of the flagpole was ordered and was not not in stock at the time of my order, that being said the original ball on the flagpole that was damaged was actually a toilet ball that lets the water back in the toilet tank , I didn’t want to say anything to them about that but since she’s so upset with me about everything not being done by her rules I figure she would like to know that. Thank You for letting me know that I had a complaint, And just so it’s very clear The husband **** is an outstanding Man and I thank him for being patient, Thank You Cliff Case @ Case Tree Service LLC .

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

This complaint should still be kept on his record even though he finally responded and did complete the job after 8 months.  He did not respond to BBB in a timely manner and his explanation is full of lies.  We have proof of his lies and he could have just chosen to apologize to us for all he put us through and move on.  We were ready to move on but he is now being abusive to me in writing lies to the BBB and lies on ********.  As far as I am concerned the matter is closed and I hope we never see him again but I do want it to remain on his record.  Thank you  I will accept that this matter is closed.

      Regards,

      ****** *******
