My daughter wrecked my vehicle a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander on May 11, 2022. My insurance assigned Performance Collision Center. When Performance Collision inspected the vehicle they did not look under the hood. Just the outside body work. I got in her car in June and realized that the car was making noises and there were lights on. I took it to the Mitsubishi dealership. They opened the hood with me there and I saw that there were hoses not attached and everything under the hood was pushed up. There was a a fan touching something metal and other unsafe things. It was clear that things were overheating. The hood latch was also broke which is unsafe to drive with. The guy at Mitsubishi said the car was unsafe to drive and clearly there was more then $2.5k of body work that needed accomplished. The vehicle had to be towed to another shop to be looked at because it was deemed unsafe. My 16 year old was driving in an unsafe vehicle. A vehicle that could have caused her and other drivers in an unsafe situation.
