  Antoine's Sprinkler Repair came to repair a broken pipe on our pump on 5/20/2022, $ 413. Less than a month later, on 6/11/2022 I wrote him to advise we were having trouble with the system not completing a cycle. I tried to restart the system and would have to manually run ii, you could hear air in the lines. He came back out on 6/14/2022 and indicated that he could not get the pump to prime and the result was we needed a new pump, and left a **** for $315 and estimate of $2300 for the pump, labor and intake pipe. I happened to be out of town and was a bit taken back at the cost so started checking around, I could buy the same pump for $1100. meaning his labor and misc parts were costing $1200. I called another company to come take a look. The broken pipe initially called about on 5/20 was still leaking and was not sealed or repaired correctly, thus resulting in air in the lines. Once this was replaced CORRECTLY the system runs perfectly and the pump is not bad and does not need replaced, still running strong today. This repair from a reputable company cost me $350 labor and parts for pipes. When I wrote Antoine's about this issue, he was defensive and crude but did indicate via text he would give my money back and didn't have any problem doing so, this communication was received from him on 6/19/2022 6:32 PM - I have still not received the refund check. He then said if I bought the pump he would replace with the costs we already paid, pump is not bad! The pump was never the issue, most concerning that this was his resolution to what was actuality a simple fix performed with the new company we hired. Documentation on his invoice indicates the work is guaranteed for up to one year. The issue we ended up resolving was the same he was initially called out to fix.    Upon arrival of service (that took  3 hours) to troubleshoot the consumers pump, the consumer was advised to get a second opinion based on the findings. ****************** for a new pump was due to the pump not keeping pressure up hill. In no way was this advice the intention of the business to rip the consumer off .

   

   After ****************** the consumer suggested to get her money back. The business will not provide a refund due to the time and parts used during the time of the trouble shooting.
