To whom it may concern, This letter is to report a person who's supposed to be a licensed and bonded contractor. The company is Cheko's Construction and Tile Company. The only address I have is ****** **** ** ******** *** **********. Phone number is ************. I hired this man to install two dormer windows in my Son's house in Chattanooga, TN. I took this man to the job sight. He went on the roof, measured the windows, and went with me to ** ****** *** ******* **. to order the windows. When the windows came in, he had measured them wrong, and they would not work. These were custom windows, so I could not get my money back, as I initially paid for them. The two windows cost a total of $621.00 with tax. I asked the contractor what he was going to do about it. He said he wouldn't install them for me, to get someone else to do the job, but he didn't have time. He quoted me a price of $500.00 for labor plus anything extra he ran into that we didn't know about. I said that's fine because I'm a retired contractor ad see how that works. I saw this man in a store one day and asked him why he didn't answer my phone calls; he said that he was busy but was going to build a house for himself and would but the windows from me to work in his home, now I can't reach him, he will not answer the phone. I am 94 years old and can't do it myself, so I bought more windows and hired another contractor. The other contractor has completed the job.
