Their list price is cheaper than most in the area . Which is great but when you get the final pricing they add additional fees to make them overpriced . Yet they state their price is cheapest in the area which it would be if they didn’t add undisclosed fees at the end instead of within the list price . Jeramie S***** And Isaac t*** definitely make the experience and trying to buy a vehicle to support my family miserable and disappointing. Watch out for their added “tint fee, certified fee, nitro air for tires”Review from David z

I bought a defective f-250 from the dealership and they were aware of the mechanical issue. I then purchased the truck with zero knowledge of the issue (Death Wobble) and immediately took it back the next day to get it fixed. unfortunately for me the issue was not fixed. I've spent thousands of dollars in the past two years in and out of mechanic shops and nobody can fix the issue. Hyundai of Columbia sold me a truck that they knew was unfixable. they received the truck on a trade in and without resolving the mechanical issues they sold me the truck. I've been trying to contact someone who can help me but unfortunately for me they are never there or in a meeting. I'm hoping the BBB can help me.Review from Marie N

Subject: Car Troubles - Urgent Complaint Horrible Horrible Horrible Dealership Since the beginning of 2024, I have been plagued with persistent issues with the car I purchased from Hyundai Of Columbia on January 19th, 2024. Despite seeking a reliable means of transportation, the vehicle has proven to be anything but dependable. From the outset, I encountered problems with the tail light, and as I embarked on a four-day work streak driving the car, further issues emerged. On Thursday morning, I was greeted by a litany of warning lights including the engine light, emission light, and a persistent "park" indication, causing panic and frustration. Consistently, I communicated these concerns to the dealership, only to be met with temporary fixes and false assurances. On Friday, the car failed to start altogether, necessitating the use of alternative transportation. Despite their intervention, the vehicle returned with the same issues unresolved, leading to another round of futile attempts to rectify the situation. On January 29th, the car was towed back to Hyundai Of Columbia, where it remained untouched for nine days before being returned under the guise of repairs. However, the same warning lights reappeared the following day, indicating that no meaningful action had been taken. In a last-ditch effort for resolution, the car was transferred to **** ***** ***** on February 9th, where it has languished for over two weeks due to motor problems. This ongoing ordeal has not only compromised my ability to work but also reflects a severe lack of accountability and competence on the part of the dealerships involved. I implore your office to intervene on my behalf to ensure a satisfactory resolution to this matter and hold Hyundai Of Columbia accountable for their negligence and disregard for consumer rights. Sincerely, ***** ******** ****Review from Jayna D.

This place is a scam! They sell lemons cars knowing they have major issues and the people are very rude and disrespectful. I have had no luck with the purchase of my car since day one. It has been in the shop more than being in my garage. I wish no one goes through what we’ve been through. They are just money hungry and unprofessional!Review from Daniel L

SMART MONEY does not shop here, PERIOD! Move on to the next one. If you are the type that likes to research before going in BLINDLY, then definitely move on to next place. Dan E**** and Chris A******** don't like consumers that might have looked at a consumer website and had a basic question. Never question them, at least not anyone who is in "charge" over there. If you do, what happens is, they get so defensive they won't even hear your concerns. End Of Story. After raising One minor concern, I was told by Dan E**** that he didn't want or need my business. This cost them A new Dealer Loyal Family that was getting to buy THREE cars from them. Dan E**** told me to leave and get out of the dealership even before they had canceled the deal... I told him that I wanted to meet with the owner and other managers together to discuss his decision. Dan E**** refused. Hey, Hyundai Corporate, Send these guys some anger Management Training. Losing Business Because a customer calls out Chris A******** and Dan E**** on a such minor thing is very unprofessional and petty. I felt physically intimidated by Dan E**** And Chris A********. Having been threatened and feeling unsafe as a 53 year old veteran who is on disability. I will never step foot in that place again and will tell women, especially, that the toxic masculinity there is abundant. Too many dealerships out there that are owned by Tennesseans. Sorry to spit such "venom" as Jon P****, Managing Partner, said to my face. I thought I would end on a High Note and Compliment *** ****** ***** *****. They were the coolest team of Guys. Friendly, Helpful, and Caring about your situation. The initial contact was an amazing. The online experience as well. The entire thing was a 10 out 10 Experience right up until I had a deep concern and presented it. Go see for yourself and ask the SMART Questions. Thank You *********** mainly you guys are the best ! *********** ********Review from Jon F

BUY A CAR FROM CHAZ. If don’t read any further, at least you know what to do. Chaz was fantastic to deal with from the jump and was straight up and honest with me. He worked his butt off to get my wife and I a great deal on a Santa Fe and was easily the most personable car salesperson I’ve ever met. Honestly, he’s less of a salesperson and more of a concierge. He walks you through every detail of your future car at an expert level and tirelessly works for YOU. This dealership has INSANE deals on both car price AND financing. We got a better deal on a fully loaded Santa Fe SEL Premium (same features as the Limited, without a heated steering wheel and a couple things that Chaz knew weren’t deal breakers for us) here than a similar dealer locally wanted to give us for a used, miles-on, two year old Limited. The warranty packages here are wicked affordable and Jalen did a FANTASTIC job at explaining those to my wife and I and ensuring we understood what we were getting and what the cost breakdowns were. These guys are incredible. Seriously. I have dealt with countless dealerships (including 7 Hyundai ones) in this car search and past car searches, and I have never found a better group of people to do business with. Do yourself a favor and call Chaz and have him get you in a new ride.Review from Michael B

I would give them 10 stars if I could…First of all, I am a guy that “Never” writes reviews but felt I had to because of the exceptional experience I had at Hyundai of Columbia. My engine completely seized up while on a trip out of town. (I travel extensively for my job) I called 3 different Hyundai dealerships in the Nashville metro area and left messages for the Service Department, Service Advisor & Service Manager with zero return calls from anybody period. I called Hyundai of Columbia and 20 minutes later Sarah J****** returned my call. I was frantic and extremely upset and Sarah J****** explained the whole process to me and how each step would go and immediately calmed me down and left me with a feeling of reassurance that they would handle everything smoothly and efficiently. The recall process went exactly as Sarah J****** said it would go. Facing a complete engine replacement recall is scary and daunting. Hyundai of Columbia was quick, responsive and communicative throughout the whole process, which in itself is reassuring. My Service Advisors Christian F***** & Houston C***** updated me every few days to let me know where I was in process and what would be next step along with recommended services. The inherent nature of this problem is unnerving so the regular communication I received was comforting and put me at ease. Interacting and witnessing these professionals at work gave me confidence and peace of mind. The staff at Hyundai of Columbia are very knowledgeable and communicative “They know their job and do what they say they will do” I live 250 miles away and will return to Hyundai of Columbia for my regular service simply because of my experience. Do yourself a favor and call or visit Hyundai of Columbia for your service needs “I know I will” Thanks Hyundai of Columbia for caring enough to have quality, caring & knowledgeable people like this on your staff. **** ** Canton, GA.Review from Davin C

Well well well this is the worst dealership of Columbia TN !!! Please beware of the crocks they are at this dealership! From the owners to the repair shop !!! We purchased a 2019 ****** Armada from them in October and the motor was going out in February!!! I get it that cars are selling as is but this is not customer service !!!! They gave us the run around from person to person! We never received any communication if we didn’t call to check on our vehicle ! Then we go to pick up our vehicle and the vehicle was given back to us with no courtesy wash! Oh and by the way we had to pay for an oil change again on a new motor that was placed due to the way they sold the vehicle !!After the fact that we took our vehicle in for a scheduled oil change at the middle of February ! But I guess they are putting the money in their pockets and not taking care of customers! But so happy that I have the Holy Spirit on my side that told me I needed to purchase a warranty prior to purchase !!! But I am warning you that there are plenty of other reliable dealers in Columbia !!! I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life in my own community!!!! Oh and not to mention my vehicle was left on E after they fixed and took it on a test drive !!! My grandfather was a pillar to this community and he never taught any of us to provide poor customer service ! Lesson learned untrustworthy !!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !!!!Hyundai of Columbia Response

We have spoken with her on several occasions and we were told by our actual customer not to respond because she has issues. You see, this complaint is from someone that we have never done business with, nor will we ever in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to respond, this will be my only response. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP!!! Bought a truck and 2 weeks later I was broke down in the middle of an intersection. Had to get a tow and was in the shop for about a week before I was told it needed a brand new transmission. Was asked to pay for it. Then when I said no. He told me he would fix it if I would settle on not getting my front fender painted (during the we owe promise). After I got it home, I was driving 70 mph,and the oil pin came out. My truck was smoking and every ounce of oil covered the car behind me. That’s the second tow they had to do in just a month. Ever since, I had problem after problem. Just found out one of the technician’s that put my transmission in pinned the starter wire between the starter and metal, grounding my starter. Not even a year later and I’m still dealing with this dealer. After telling the dealership what happened the service manager told me they didn’t do it. Haven’t even owned the truck for a year. Since the new transmission, I’ve had to repair the overflow because they cracked it putting the engine back in, they pinched something under the engine causing an exhaust leak, now this melted exposed live starter wire. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIPHyundai of Columbia Response

We understand that vehicles break down, especially used vehicles, that is why we offer warranties. This customer refused a warranty, yet somehow got a free transmission 9 months ago. Now she has a new problem, so she wants another free repair. At what point does the vehicle become the consumers responsibility? If the wire was grounded it would have immediately been a problem, not 9 months later. I am thankful once again that you gave me the opportunity to respond, and as usual it's about someone who didn't want to pay for a warranty, but they also doesn't want to pay for their own repairs. This is the meaning of no good deed goes unpunished. We tried to do the right thing 9 months ago and now we are somehow the bad guys. This will be my only response, as far as I am concerned this matter is closed.
