I had gotten a voucher from Wags and whiskers to have my cat neutered with Upper Cumberland Veterinary Clinic. We were under the impression that the cat would be fixed for free, and the business NEVER told us that we would have to pay more until the surgery was done and we came to pick him up. They wanted to charge us an additional $53. $33 was because the surgery was over a $125 limit that we were not aware the voucher didn't cover. The remaining $20 was for a shot that I did not approve of and had no idea they were doing. We had told them that morning he had all his shots, but they didn't ask for his records. They called us liars saying that we were told all of this information. I am not going to pay them the $53 because they did not tell us any of this information, and I don't like being called a liar. Not to mention, I am very upset that they did an action (the shot) that no one approved for. What if my cat was allergic to it? The only thing that was approved for that morning was the cat being fixed. I want this business to forget the transaction, and I never want to hear from them again.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/21) */ This surgery was done in good faith through Wags and Whiskers. They supply vouchers toward the cost of surgeries. They inform the recipients that the vouchers are partial payment, as we do when the appointments are made. We plainly state also that vaccinations are required ( with proof ) or they will be given the day of surgery. This is at their expense. One person dropped the cat off, and it was picked up by someone else. I walked out when this man was raising a ruckus with my receptionist that no she did not tell them, nor did Wags. He was in fact accusing her of being the liar. He became belligerent, and I told him to leave and never come back. He then invited me to come around the partition to fight. I mentioned calling the police and he left shouting what he would do. I will not stand for abuse to my staff, nor will I put up with threats. They just don't want to pay!
