In April 2022, we contacted this company to install a water pipe in our yard. The current pipe runs through the drive way and it gets run over and causes breaks and leaks, which lead to high water bills. The man came out and gave an estimate for the work to be done and then asked for a $300 deposit so that he could rent a machine to dig the trench in the yard for the pipe. We gave him the money and didn't hear anything for a while, but a couple of people did come out to look at the yard to see where the gas line was. We had quite a few days of rain after that, but once the rains stopped and things dried up I thought the man would come out and do the pipeline for us. He did not come out. We have called and called, left messages and so on. I did speak to a woman at the company a while back and I told her I wanted our money ($300) back and she said she would send it to us, but never did. I would like to have the company send our $300 back since they never did the job that we gave them the deposit for.Business response

We have been trying to contact the *********s by calling their phone and cannot reach them. We have gone by their house and no one is ever there. I have left my business card at the door. We explained that in order to install the pipe the they would have to arrange for their water to be turned off while we install the pipe. I even rented the machine to dig the trench, when I called to arrange a date and time to come out, I was told they were not ready.
I realize the consumer would like their deposit back and I am happy to do so, but I would like to arrange a date and time that I can deliver the money in person so that they can sign a receipt that will show they received the money back. I will continue to try and get in touch with the *********s by calling the numbers I have available to me and going by their house.
Once again, I would like to return their deposit to them, I just need them to call me to arrange a date and time when I can deliver the money.
