On 7/7/23 my husband ******************* arrived for treatment at The ****************** in *******, **. Previously from the ********************* where he went though detox. We were told by the patient concierge this facility was optimal as it specialized in treatment of veterans. They did not accept our insurance, so we were self pay. Prior to wiring the funds to Summit BHC LLC in the amount of $22440, I was informed by the billing department that the payment was refundable should my husband leave the facility. He is a special case, he is disabled, has a degenerative condition with chronic pain, and, is preop. He did relay this to staff numerous times. He was there for alchohol dependency, solely. He never recieved any type of medical assessment. He requested a doctor or nurse prac multiple times and one was never produced. He was in pain the entire time. He brought his own medications. There seemed to be no treatment plan, as he never saw a therapist or psychiatrist, and it seems, there were no onsite doctors. He walks with a cane is very unsteady on his feet due multiple joint replacements and extremely swollen ankles. I called multiple times to ensure he had a sufficient pain management plan, and my calls were never returned. When he couldn't take the pain any longer, and it became obvious he wasn't going to recieve any kind of help, he decided to leave. He was told he was leaving AMA even though no MA was ever given. They told him no one would help carry his bags to the curb or help him find a way home. I was never informed, that he even left the facility. I have called the Summit BHC LLC billing office multiple times, left multiple messages, with no response whatsoever. I have tried reaching out via email from their website, that just gives and instant "Forbidden" message. We are seeking a full refund as well as compensation for travel to and from, including food. We are prepared to contact our Attorney, if this matter is not sufficiently resolved, expeditiously.

I was a patient at ********* ********** health in Colorado Springs. I arrived by ambulance and because I was on a suicide watch they would not let me have my purse. Usually they go through your items in front of you but they took my purse and went into another room with it and I never saw it again. It was the only thing I had on me for my stay. I told them when they took it that I had at least $300 in my billfold because I had just been to the casino and won some money. I had three 100 bills in my billfold plus some 20s and change I think it was $86. As I was staying there for my four days I try to get them to get the money out to give to my sister but they said it was already locked in the safe and was in safekeeping and I didn't need to worry about it. When I checked out of the facility and they went through my belongings they told me I only had the $86 to give to me and I told him no I had three $100 bills in here as well. So they kept going back-and-forth between the finance her business office and my Unit with a guy named Wyatt. He finally told me that they were going to refund me the money in a check and mail it to my address but there was no one there to sign a check on that day that I was leaving. He wrote it down for me stating what had happened and that they would refund the money by check in the next 7-10 business days. I waited the suggested time and nothing came so I called them and got no response I left messages after messages after messages and have not been contacted by them. They have given me to peoples names to talk to in the business office one is ***** **** at extension 3036 the other is ***** at extension 3063 I've left messages for both of them and have not received a call back. They are completely ignoring me and not following through with what they promised they would do. Just to let you know I was admitted into the facility on Monday, June 13 and I was discharged on Friday, June 17. I would like my money refunded.
