I paid last year for my belt . Was advised if illness in family , the people who made the belts . To tell you the truth I had just given up . But my dealings in the past had been very positive. So just pegged it up to familey sickness and did not think of it again . I was very impressed that they did not give up on me or the product . I recieved it and it was just as fantastic as the others I had purchased from them . Hats off for the real Mc coy . They may have been slow because of reasons , but their word must be as good as their belts !

****** Is there a rating LESS that 5 stars?? On 10/12/23 I ordered (in person at the business location) 2 belts for *******, (paid in advance) and was given a ship date of 15 to 20 weeks. I, too, have tried to call SEVERAL TIMES and each time received messages that voicemails were full. I, too, have emailed SEVERAL TIMES with no answer. I, too, received a letter postmarked 3/4/24 stating their personal issues, but to have "patience and faith that we are working diligently and conscientiously to complete your order as soon as we can." REALLY?? Are these people out of business or dead? I requested in my emails that they be professional and considerate and reply and/or refund my money -- NO RESPONSE. My husband is 90 years old - he probably will never see these belts! People who conduct such scams should not ask for faith in them - after reading all the other complaints, they should be prosecuted.

I too ordered a belt from Gary, the owner in September 2022. At the time he altered a belt I had purchased from him a few years earlier while I waited. I was told that there was about a 2-3 month wait as he had a lot of orders to fill and each belt is hand made, tooled, dyed and assembled by himself and his son. After a few months I tried to contact them but as others have said there was no response. In spite of having had several conversations with Gary and finding him to be an old fashioned gentleman with strong views on government and the direction todays society has taken, I figured that I would never see my belt. Surprise, surprise--- went to pick up my mail in May 2024 and there was a package from Gary with my belt exactly as ordered. To all those waiting I would say Hang in there, it will arrive! I would give a 5 star rating except for the lack of communication. Gary is an awesome craftsman.

Ordered in Sept 2023. It's been 8 months and no belt.

Visited this store mid July 2023, ordered (order #949565) and paid for a custom made belt. Was advised they were having trouble getting materials "because they only use American Made". Which we were fine with and appreciated them sourcing American Made materials. At the time we were told and as written on the order ticket "Ship 15 to 20 weeks". Ok. In January 2024, I received a letter from them, signed by ***** *****, stating the difficulty in procuring the highest quality of leather they demand etc. and also that the son Seth has been very ill, suffers a lot of pain etc. etc. with a handwritten note at the bottom stating "Delivery late January". I waited and waited and finally on March 1st, 2024 I sent an email to the address on their business card. No reply. Today, May 6th 2024, I resent the same email as well as I called both numbers on their business card and both indicated their voicemail boxes are full, CLICK. From the other reviews listed for this business, I guess this should come of no shock to me as we all have had the same issue. Go in the store, get sweet talked, buy a belt, which we had intended on doing so anyway. Only to be treated with dishonesty, disrespect and thievery! I work hard for my money and don't appreciate getting conned out of it. Immediate action needs taken with this business! Another thing I've noticed is that the business is listed under several addresses and possible different names. I purchased from Leather - T** **** ***** *** ****** ***** Gatlinburg, TN. Would have been a ZERO star rating if it were an option!

Ordered a belt in May 2023. Received a letter in September 2023 of a backlog and that the belt would be received in November. It was not received so I disputed the charge with my bank in December. Merchant responded that I received and am in possession of the belt. That is not true, so I am reopening the dispute with the bank. Merchant's voice mail box has been full for months, so cannot leave a message.

My husband ordered a belt on 4/16/2023 and paid $180. As of 8/24/2023 still no belt has been received. I've called both the phone numbers listed on the business card- no answer and the voicemail boxes are full. Emailed to the listed email address, no response. Texted to both numbers, no response. Got a feeling we just lost $180.

Ordered a belt on 10/09/22 and paid for it, and as of today no belt, no response from the store, after several attempts. Thank God for Discover card, at least they can’t keep our money!

Ordered belt and holster on 11/15/21 and fully paid. Was told it would be 2 months to deliver. As of 2/19/22 no delivery. I've emailed with no response. I called and the VM box is full.
