As part of a promotional offer from Miracle Ear, on December 5th, 2023, I was given a free hearing test at the Miracle Ear’s office located at **** * ****** ******* Ln, Knoxville, TN ***** by Mr. A*** G***. In the following weeks we discussed several hearing aid options, and I selected the Miracle-Ear Mini. I was a bit hesitant because this device requires batteries that need to be replaced, but Mr. G*** told me that that would not be an issue since Miracle Ear would provide free batteries for the life of the device. With this, I bought this device in late December 2023. I received the device on January 9, 2024, and at that time Mr. G*** gave me 6 Miracle Ear 8-battery packs (size 10). He scheduled a cleanup of the device for Apil 2024, which I later rescheduled for May 9, 2024, since I was out of town in April. When I went to the Office for the cleanup, I was informed by Ms. M*** M*** that Mr. G*** was no longer with the company and that she was the new technician. She proceeded to clean up the device. Before leaving the office, I asked her for some replacement batteries because I was running out of the ones that Mr. G*** gave me in Jan 2024. She said she did not have any at the time, but she would order them and mail them to me. A month went by, and I did not receive any batteries. I went back to the office and Ms. M*** told me that she still did not have the batteries that my device requires. The next time at the office she told me that Miracle Ear did not provide free batteries and that I was misled by Mr. G*** (as of 07/31/24 I have not received any batteries from Miracle Ear, except for the ones that Mr. G*** gave me in Jan 2024). Of course, I did not know when I bought the device that Mr. G*** was lying to me, or if he was not lying, that Miracle Ear would change the deal. When the time comes to replace the Miracle Ear hearing-aid device I will consider a different company where the technicians do not lie to the client to close on a sale.

In July 2020, I sought treatment at Miracle Ear, 8331 E. Walker Springs Ln, Ste. 103 for issues with hearing. My initial appointment was with MaryAnn F., Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS). My hearing was tested and I was fitted with a hearing aid. Over the course of the last 2 years I have complained about the fit and inability to hear with several appointments scheduled (August 2020 - July 2022). Most of the appointments were with Luke A., HIS, who would provide a smaller or larger ear piece to help keep them in my ear. They did cast my ear for and provide a molded piece for assistance with the fit but it still didn't work and didn't resolve my hearing issues at any time. I began payment (102.37) of my hearing aids in August 2020. I have paid 2456.88 to date and have a remaining balance of 3582.95. Because of hearing issues at my employment, resolution was necessary so I sought a different provider (Physician's Hearing Center). I was provided a new hearing aid in April 2022. While the aids were cheaper (4372.79) I am now forced to pay a higher payment on a fixed income. I have sought resolution on numerous occasions and was told to keep these as a "back-up". I do not think I should be forced to pay for a product that does not work. I only ask that I am able to return the aids in return for a zero balance.
