10/15/2022 - Lucky Fencing, ***** *********, was contracted to build two privacy gates on the property. The price for both gates totaled approximately $62,000 … Mr. ********* was very friendly in the beginning and work was being performed. After six weeks, Mr ********* began to demand more money or threatened to walk off the job. I wrote a check on 01/20/2023 for $25k to complete the job. The following week Mr. ********* demanded another $11,000. We have paid over $73,000 in the last three months to ***** *********. Over $10k more than originally quoted - when I confronted Mr. ********* he became aggressive and began threading me and my fiancé. Currently we Lucky Fencing has completed about $25k worth of the original work and now has gone radio silent. It appears that we are not the only victims of Lucky Fencing’s scheme. We are still missing our electronic keypads, the openers, actuator arms, solar kits, and numerous other high value items. Mr *********’s wife is a local attorney and he threatened to have her “shut me down” because I “didn’t know who I was messing with!” When I refused to continue to give him more and more money. Mr ********* and his foreman **** come off as trustworthy “good old boys” - however, they do not complete work, lie about pricing, and then threaten home owners when they do not give them money when demanded.Business response

We were there installing the gate openers on Mr ******* gates when Mr ****** asked our installers to leave his premises. We have contacted Mr ****** to ask could we continue with the work he said No. We were 2 days prior to finishing up his project. We have been on time with this project. We also did work on the inside of his home. Everything we did for Mr ****** has been perfection. We would like to know why we were not allowed to finish the project..*****Customer response

I am rejecting this response because they never completed the project. They still have not accounted for the thousands of dollars missing and has addressing that issue. Like I said prior - buyer beware.

As previously stated, we were in the process of completing all obligations when we were asked to leave the customer's property. We were never giving an explanation there fore at this time we consider all obligations fulfilled.Initial Complaint

I contracted with this company to put a fence up in the backyard and stain it. Also 3 cedar columns on the front porch and cedar in the gable. I paid them the full amount of $17,000.00 which later I have found was them overcharging me by about double. I'm sure because I'm a woman. They put up the fence July 8th and have never returned to stain it or put up the columns or gable. They have repeatedly text and emailed they were coming out, on their way, materials were loaded on the truck, but never have shown up again. The amount of stress this has caused is ridiculous. This company is the most unprofessional company I've ever come across.Business response
