Flew in from Texas to purchased a vehicle cash from Short-Redmond Ford in La Follette Tn. on 7/10/24. We drove the vehicle back to Memphis and an hour after we purchased vehicle on the way home we discovered a warning light and we immediatly called the sales rep Tyler to let him know. He told us he would look into it and we did not hear from him until 2 weeks later when we had to call the dealership to get an update. It then took another week for them to respond and they informed us they would send a check for **** to repair the sensor that was causing the warning light. In between that time I exerted my right as a consumer to give them a negative google review based on my experience. The Manager, Charlie then texted us stating he would not be sending the check until we removed the review. Against my better judgement, I removed the review as they requested. When we did not receive the check as promised we contacted the dealership AGAIN and we were informed that they had put a stop payment on the check. ( I have screen shots of entire conversation if needed) This dealership is unethical and runs their business through intimidation of their customers. Consumers need to be warned of their tactics and understand that when selecting a dealership, the business only posts the good reviews.

i have bought my truck year and half ago the sales team was very nice. my complaint is on my beautiful raptor that i bought from them. they didn't fix the past recalls on the truck. in which i didn't know this cam phasers. at 90,000 miles it's now at 120292.5 miles and since then ford recalled transmission in 2017 fords but not my vin which is ***************** **** *lso has not recalled the rear defrost which has caused fire damage to wires in the back. it was cold morning in tn and my kids where in truck when it was filled with smoke less than five min of auto start. i tried to sale my truck back to short red in hopes they would see i was in a pickle and sold a lemon. 2**** **** ******* ** * *** ***** ******. i understand they are there to make money. This truck was was neglected before i came across it there is several other recalls to this model truck. I was sold a lemon. i traded two running SUVs that i trusted to drive me and my kids in worth over **** each paid over the time i have had the truck 16000. on 7/26/24 i have owner surrendered this truck over to the bank. anyone looking to buy anything do not trade make sure you have full cash. look to see if any recalls are on . and have been completed. i would drive it to another ford dealership to 100% make sure they are being honest. my truck will go to auction. i do not have time to take the truck in myself i have my fathers bills to pay as well as my own. chase at first was understanding but they failed as well in this as they are just letting it go to auction.

The salesman, Bryan, was very pleasant, patient, and great to work with. I am very particular when I shop for a vehicle and spend a lot of time looking the car over. Bryan was very patient and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed even tho we were outside at the car for a long time on an extremely hot day. They gave me a fair price for my Honda Pilot and the asking price on the Ford Explorer was slightly below market value. Charles was also very nice, realizing that I had a price in mind and we were able to agree on a price without any pressure. I would highly recommend Short-Redmond Ford.

One of the best places I have ever bought a car from, this is my 3rd purchase from Short-Redmond and they are always so friendly, not pushy and go above and beyond to make sure that I am 100% satisfied. My family and I would never go anywhere else!

Great dealership and easy to deal with! Would recommend them to anyone! Drove 1.5 hours and will do it again in the future to buy from them!

All of the sales and financial services at Short Redmond was extremely great..David ***** was our salesman and he was excellent to work with I would highly recommend him. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful great experience.

Mine was a custom Maverick. Salesman was solid but the deal not so much. My trade was valued at 6K in October. 3K miles later ( 5 months) with no change to the vehicle, I’m told it’s worth ****** They also had tried to increase the MSRP due to their input error in ordering the truck. They “waived” the thousand and we compromised at $****. But I felt like I was on the defensive for most of the transaction.

Great sales team but the front stops there. 3 major repairs with the vehicle within 6 months, additional warranty purchased is a joke based the "verbiage". For example, replaced both turbo's which were found defective by the appraiser but would not cover the hardware which is required to replace the turbo. Consequently, the hardware cost, as much as a turbo, had to be paid out of pocket. The replaced hardware was not available according to Tony, was part of the core charge but not covered by the warranty..? When asked to speak with the warranty company to get more detail, no one could give a phone number, name or information other than a printed off email from the adjuster.

Got us out of there fairly quick. First time I have ever bought a car that did not come with a full tank of gas.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. As I was at the bank signing the financing paperwork, they sold said vehicle. I was on the phone with them and text messages, they mixed up the paperwork a few times and made it more difficult to even get financed. As I was leaving the bank, Cathy, said they sold the truck. I was prepared to drive 12 hours from Fort Johnson all the way to lafollette to pick it up and they sold it while I was financing. 0 integrity. 0 professionalism.
