      ****, I am contacting you to let you know how disappointed I am in you and your recommended bartender and security guard. I am sure you manipulated me by allowing your people to steal alcohol and soft drink. Security drank alcohol, soda, and food. Inviting your photographer, who took unauthorized photos, that he should not post without my permission and will not get it. You even sat there and watched a homeless person steal a full tray of food. I gave you ***** dollars to get flowers for my wife. I thank you for getting them, but that wasn't a ***** dollar bouquet. I should have had change coming back. but that's ok. I am very disappointed with all your manipulations. It only happened because I was very busy executing my event. No need to reply as this number is blocked. Also, there was soap in either bathrooms nor wad there sanitizer.

      Im soo sorry that ******************* has made these False allegations. My dad always said two things 1. You cannot please everybody and A PICTURE IS WORTH A **** words.

      i found out after the facts ******************* is on several Medications. ******************* also suffers from Manic Depression and psychosis symptoms. He and his entire klan enjoyed themselves and did not want to leave. ******************* got IRATE when he asked to EXTEND his stay and my my manager to him there would be an additional charge.

      On Saturday, July 23, 2022, the ***** Family Reunion was held at The Avenue Downtown, *************************************** at 6:30pm. The statement was posted on the venues review:Initially, the owner was professional and willing to accommodate our family reunion group which consisted of 78 adults and 2 infants. He was available to answer questions and modify the contract to allow us to drop off items for our event on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 3pm. Our contract stated the time frame, 5pm to 10pm or 11pm. One week before, the owner suggested that we rent fans at the cost of $80 for 4 fans. I questioned his recommendation knowing the venue should be air-conditioned. He agreed stating our group would be fine. On the day of the event, the committee members stopped by to assist with set up. The venue was HOT even though the thermostat was set on 50degrees. It was almost 100 degrees. Again, the owner suggested we purchase fans for $80. We had no choice but to consent with hopes to have an enjoyable evening. The owner should have provided the fans at No Cost knowing that the building was not equipped to accommodate 80 people.During our event I asked where were the 4 fans because he only delivered 3. The owner stated he would return to the property to ensure there were 4 fans. The fans were filled with dust which exacerbated asthma and COPD of guests with pre-existing conditions.. After the guests returned home several tested positive from COVID after a night at this venue.The caterer did not have adequate lighting nor a sink to maintain sanitary measures throughout the event.

      Its Amazing that your team would falsely accuse the fine establishment of HEAT ISSUES when yall wanted to stay past midnight. I
      was there the Entire event and there was not any issues. The only issue was when u booked u told employees that your guest list for 80 ppl.. (the venue holds 150 ) your family was over 300 people. Of course when u over invite people the body heat will be WARM.
      Also the contract stated that it was supposed to end as 10 pm, however ***************** begged to stay an ADDITIONAL 1.5 hr leaving the venue well after midnight. Please make it since.

      I am responding to the letter that was received in regards to Complaint ID ********. The formal response below is not satisfactory because the owner is providing false information. In the last email, I included the contract between the ***** Family and The Avenue Downtown and the receipt for the caterer who prepared food for 80 people. The owner reported that the ***** Family had 300 people, we had 78 people 3 years and older and 2 infants. I have attached a video of the event which exhibits 10 round tables with 8 chairs and the roster with each persons name that was present at the event. Please feel free to contact any member on the list.  If we need additional references please contact the caterer and the decorator to confirm the number of people at the ***** Family Reunion. Also, Mr. ******* ****************** Treasurer of ******* was present during this even and he has given permission to contact him to provide confirmation about our event. 

      We are requesting a refund for our event for slandering our name and the inconvenience this incident has created within the last few weeks. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

      We had a masquerade ball there on ****. To ending part of our family reunion. No air conditioning in the buildings. We paid for four fans only received three. The owner promised to refund some of the money back. As of today nothing. No one should have to sweat like that and be dress to impress. The room was so hot. Dont trust what he has to say.
