I called them on August 26, 2024 for their service on my septic tank and then I called them back on August 27, 2024 to complain about the over charge. They quoted price to be $650. and some change at the very highest. After job was completed they charge me $1183.42. My complainant is that they charged me much more than I was quoted. I contacted them about the higher price and they said they would call me back and no one has ever called me back.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
They called me once and then sent me a text message. They were going to send me a check, but never did tell me how much. I wanted to get at least 400 dollars back. I have not received a check from them, and haven't heard from them since last Friday 9,27-24

We had received the complaint via the office email, but it wasn't going to ******* email (Owner); our email was sending it to spam.
Upon receiving Ms. ******* phone call, we contacted Mr. ****** apologized for the miscommunication, and issued a refund check in the amount of $400 on 11/8/24.Customer response

Someone from Rooter Man did contact me Friday 11/08/24 she said that a check for 400 dollars was being mailed to me. I haven't received the check yet, but I will keep you posted if they send me anything. Thank you for your help. I will get back with you by the end of the week.Customer response

On February 2, 2022, I paid $494.50 for a job that hasn't been well done. I'm still having plumbing problems to this day. My toilets and tubs are stopping up, and they won't go down or operate correctly and i'm having the same problem over. Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/03/08) */ Mr. ******** called about two weeks after his sewer was hydro-jetted and said it was backed up again. when the dispatcher informed him there is no warranty and a continuation of service charge would apply he started " screaming " at her calling her a scammer he asked to speak to me and she told him I was not here and I was not he called her a liar. He also called our service tech an idiot and said he left the extension ladder at his house. I called him back to try and resolve his complaint and he said he didn't care if it needed repair or anything else he had already paid us to fix it. I told him he paid us to hydro-jet it and that work was completed to do additional work on his property would not be free. I could not reason with him and when I asked if we could still come back and get the ladder he said it was gone now someone must have taken it lol. I have nothing further to add and will not reply to anything further he has to say and will not refund anything. thanks, *****
