      Aventura Bellevue violated my rights as a tenant. Multiple occasions end of 2022, Tenant hired maintenance and landscaping. The serious incident was when the landlord sent maintenance men into apartments with 0 prior warning or notice. I a 19 yo female was home alone with my door locked in the bathroom, I heard the door unlock and then proceeded to hear a big person coming down the stairs to where I was! I was distressed and scared. Then he walked in on me and explained he was maintenance, no knock, no email, no call. Similar occasions happened prior and even after! This also happened to fellow tenants, I also had an occasion of maintenance men moving my stuff off my porch and threw my new furniture into the grass and didnt even move it back, along with the time they broke multiple items out there when doing tree work, I have video of this. I emailed the management and they told me to send them the film, i did that and told them they are obligated to reimburse me for the items, or replace them. Several emails later after finally getting a response they told me no essentially and said they would not replace it. They also allowed the aprt next to mine to be abandoned and sit in the heat without cleaning which resulted in the food, HUMAN WASTE in that apartment to cause a cockroach infestation along with nasty smells. They were also made aware of that and proceeded to not even look in it until months later. I would like some action to be put into place about this and my distressing situations caused by these people.

      6/23/2022- boyfriend and I visited Aventura Bellevue to confirm availability for an apartment, and were told that the unit in question WAS AVAILABLE. We went home, applied, and paid $*** (*** admin fee and ** application fee for each of us.) 6/24/2022- I called to see if our application had gone through and see how to proceed. ***** told me that the apartment was actually NOT AVAILABLE and that we "shouldn't have been able to apply for it." I asked for my money back and ***** said that I would receive a check. A few days pass and I received no word from the apartment complex. I called and ********* assured me that she would get the check mailed and that it would take 3-5 business days. A week passed and still no check. I visited the complex to speak in person but doors were locked during business hours. The following week I tried calling again, and this is where it became increasingly difficult to get in contact with these people. *******(? Front desk girl) was always the one to answer and always telling me that neither ********* nor ***** were available. This went on for weeks, and each time I was told to call back only for the same story to be told, or promised a call back. NOT ONCE did anyone from the office contact me. I tried going in to the office a few days later. Another worker from a different complex was there and said ********* was on the phone and that she had mailed the check and would send an email showing proof of this. They never did this. Finally, after several calls that were ignored, I got in touch with *******(?) on July 29. She tried to tell me that I couldn't get my money back because I had "cancelled my application" WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE. I then reminded her that this was their mistake and that BOTH ***** AND ********* promised me the check for $***. I have obviously been deceived this whole time.She suddenly was ableto initiate a refund via card & said to wait 5-7 business days. It is now AUGUST 9 and STILL NO MONEY.

      I have been without AC in my unit for 11 days. I was brought a single window unit for an entire open first floor and one standalone unit for one bedroom of a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment has been dragging it's feet and blaming supply chain for not having it fixed. I have given them notice I will with hold and repair, but I have been unable to use my 2nd bedroom (office) because it is consistently over 80 degrees in there. I pay for a 2 bedroom home and have been unable to use an entire room, plus have been living between 76 and 80 degrees for almost two weeks. I want a significant reduction in my rent for the discomfort and unprofessionalism on behalf of Aventura Bellevue.

      I cannot get in touch with anyone at this establishment. I have went to the office on three separate occasions, sent emails with no response, knocked on doors, etc. Absolutely horrible customer service. Their phone number listed on the website rings a few times then automatically hangs up on you. My hope is a complaint with the BBB will help them be better because this is horrible and no way to do business. While waiting on a tour I scheduled through the website (the office was closed at 10am even though they open at 8), four additional people pulled up and tried to get into the office for help. This is just horrible and I want to see this resolved. Customer service is not hard, if this management company is obviously struggling so hard, then someone else who can competently do the job should take over.
