Last year, I hired Southern Gardens, Inc. to turn on my sprinkler system, conduct repairs and winterize my system. Southern Gardens, Inc. came out to my (without being asked to come to my house) and turned on my sprinkler system and conducted another $1,000 of unauthorized repairs. I called the company to inquire about the bill because I didn't authorize them to even come out to my home. I was told that my name was on the list from last year. I explained that I did not authorize them to even turn on my sprinkler system b/c I hadn't decided whether or not I even wanted to use it. The guy on the phone said that he could come out and take out the parts that he put on my system. I told him that was fine so long as he restored it to the original condition before he took out the parts. In other words, he isn't going to come out here and take off the parts that he put on and leave my system in need of repairs. I got a second bill from Southern Gardens indicating that my account was past due and that I owed a late payment fee. It is unethical and deceptive for Southern Gardens to trespass ** my property and make repairs that haven't been requested, approved or authorized.Business response
