In August 2021 I gave ***** H*****, the owner of A2D a cashier's check for $30,000 as a down payment to build my house. Since then he's had 5 trees removed from the property and moved some dirt. He says he can account for $3200 spent on my property. We agree he owes me $26,800...a refund of my deposit due to him not even breaking ground on my home. He now refuses to answer phone calls or messages.Initial Complaint

I paid a total of $256,000 for a major gut remodel of my 2800 sq.ft. home in February 13, 2021. We were given an estimated completion time of Oct. 15, 2021. In addition I have purchased almost all of the materials used except for a few plumbing and electrical items. The contractors, Rick ******** and Scott*******, did most of the demolition and replaced some walls with engineered headers along with starting a new porch. Then they stopped. No siding, no floors, no walls, no insulation, half done with electrical, half done with plumbing. Dumpster full with entire yard covered in trash for 5 months. They said the dumpster company was too busy to pick it up. We have asked repeatedly for an accounting of expenses but nothing. Funny, as soon as I paid the bill the dumpster was replaced within 24 hours. The contractors have "lost" 2 toilets. They said that they had purchased a garage door and a window for a dormer but will not tell us who or where they are. They put a dishwasher and an antique Secretary desk in storage and refused to return them. On 11/23/21 we fired A2D and asked for detailed expense report which they have not done. We have asked for a refund and they will not respond. they have not responded our calls, emails or texts. we have tried to contact them everyday and they refuse to respond. we are asking for help in trying to resolve this situation. thanks for your cooperation.
