I was taken to the Tennova hospital, I was held for four hours, I was billed 5.2 grand for services that were done under duress and without informed consent. They informed me at the end of the four hour stay I was sane, something I was well aware of and that I am free to go. During my stay I was kept in a chair in the hallway. During my stay multiple times the nurses would come by and take samples from me for some tests. They implied that my doing what they say will lead to me being released earlier and those who make a scene tend to stay longer. I obviously wanting to leave do everything they ask of me. I do not think to refuse tests I do not think to ask of pricing as it was not a driving concern my concern was my freedom. They release me and give me my items back. Weeks later I am sent a massive bill. I am currently trying to dispute it internally, This seems like little more than a racket to drain the mentally unwell and those unfortunate enough to be sent there erroneously of every ***** they have. They are charging me more than a grand per hour spend there. They at no point informed me I had any choice and when I asked to leave they informed me that if I tried to leave their guards would tackle me and they would keep me at least through the weekend. This is evil. This must be stopped.
