      I am incredibly disappointed with our experience with Gembah for product development and sourcing. We initially engaged Gembah's services with high expectations but encountered numerous challenges throughout our collaboration that led to the project falling apart entirely.We were forced to reduce the scope of our project several times with no cost adjustment due to Gembahs inability to handle the project. After we reached our breaking point, I reached out directly to the *** who ultimately said that he felt that his company performed very well on our project and would not consider any helpful courses of action. We experienced issues related to a lack of professionalism, overpromising, and under-delivering on services, and now that we have paid roughly $20,000 to Gembah, we still do not have a viable production partner for our products. They failed to deliver the service we paid for. They underperformed and did not perform in a "workmanlike" manner in terms of executing project objectives. Approx. spend: $20,000 Outcome: No product production or viable production partners.

      I contacted Gembah in April of 2021 as I was looking to build a product. Gembah caught my attention as it has a modern website and good reviews. I spoke with a sales rep and he put together a proposal for me to design the product as well as take the product to the market (including supply chain services). I signed the contract and paid the required deposit. We started to work with a designer to design my product and then suddenly I was moved to the supply team. When I mentioned my confusion with this change, I was reassured that these were the steps that needed to be taken to bring my product to the market. As we continued to work through supply chain, it became clear to me that the contract I signed and the communication was not clear at all. I was told several times after I signed the contract and worked with the designer that I was to take an existing product and add one feature. However, I asked where in the contract this was and they pointed to the following line: "Abbee would like Gembah's help to complete manufacturability requirements and make minor improvements to the current competitor design of a double ****** waffle iron. The primary differentiator will be a removable or interchangeable griddle."This is quite ambiguous as it never states that I'm only able to make ONE change to an existing product. Plus, if this was the case, it seems to me that the most efficient plan of attack would be to get samples and then from there, complete the design process off of one of those samples. By the time I received a sample, I had already worked though a lot of the design, only to be told that we wouldn't be able to proceed with the design because the manufacturers didn't have a product that was similar enough. The project was mishandled as I should of started in sourcing and then moved to design. I would of been able to get a sample and assess it prior to designing the product. The contract was ambiguous and the communication was poor.
