      On Wednesday, July 31st I hired Repair My Appliance to repair my wall oven. It was stuck in the preheat setting. A technician named ****** came out and replaced the temperature sensor. My husband paid him over $300 via Mastercard. I was traveling, and my husband did not try to use the oven until the morning of Sunday, August 4th. When he turned on the oven, the same issue occurred. I returned home on the evening of August 4th. On Monday, August 5th, I contacted Repair My Appliance and explained the situation. I was told a technician would be in touch "shortly." I never heard from a technician or the company. On the morning of Wednesday, August 7th, I found the cell number from ******, the technician. I texted him I needed my oven repaired. He responded that he was on vacation until August 18th. I called Repair My Appliance to see if another tech could come out since it had already been seven days, and I wasn't willing to wait another 11 for a repair. ****** with RMA texted that it wasn't possible. I pushed for more answers and learned they hired an independent contractor and would not send anyone else out to help me. I had no idea they were sending an independent contractor to my home, or I would have never hired RMA. ****** would not provide any details, such as if ****** is licensed. I'm now left with a broken oven and paid a random man $300. I have no idea if the sensor was actually installed, if he is competent, if he is licensed, etc. Additionally, ****** does not speak English. He had to communicate with my husband via an app on his phone. My husband was unsure if ****** completely understood the issue with our oven. I do not trust the company or ****** to make the repairs and must hire another company.
