They refuse to take liability & continued to lie stating they werent painting that timeI sent emails from my complex proving otherwise they then claimed that plastic wasnt used & I chose to drive around a few days with the plastic. Why would I put my life in danger by doing such ?Camp has been trying every way to not take responsibility for the negligence caused by their workers. Simply cleaning up could have avoided this. The put my ********* unborn child life in jeopardy due to their negligence.they now refuse to reimburse me for repairs on a brand new vehicle.not even a year oldBusiness response

This construction company was contracted by the owner of the apartment complex that I live in to perform exterior renovations. The complex that I live in is a Greystar complex called ****************; which is also mentioned on the construction website that "Greystar Trusts CAMP Construction." The apartment complex is located in *********** ***** and Camp Construction has been painting and making exterior renovations for months. The workers not only got paint spray on all sides of my vehicle (except the passenger side), but they stole my mop from my apartment balcony, and damaged my window screens 3-stories high. I contacted one of the managers from the apartment complex with pictures of the paint specks that were sprayed on my vehicle, the manager contacted Camp Construction, and the manager was told by Camp Construction "there are paint splatters on the car, but it does not have overspray consistent with the sprayers that are being used." I had just come from the car wash and throughly cleaned my vehicle to which I observed that there were no paint specks on my vehicle. I parked my car at the apartment complex, and there was overspray specks on my vehicle within a few hours of parking. The company is denying any liability but is responsible for the overspray to my vehicle. This company has been doing renovations on this apartment complex for months now and is the only construction in the area that I live in. I live on a third floor and my window screens were, also, damaged by painters on ladders hopping across the building for distances of multiple feet while on aluminum ladders 3-stories high. This company is not only negligent in their actions but also unethical. Some of the painters use safety vests while others do not, I'm unsure of their rules/regulations but I'm sure OSHA would have something to say about this company, as well. I am seeking a resolution to the overspray on my vehicle and have photos of the overspray. Thank you for your consideration.Business response

Dear **************,
The reason why your claim was denied was a collective decision between ******** and Camp. It was felt the paint on the vehicle was not the same color as the paint being used to paint the buildings and the vehicles near the painting site were covered by tarps. Inconclusion, Camp denies that it is responsible for the paint on the your vehicle. However, Camp desires to amicably resolve this claim.
Camp will need an estimate to clean the paint off the vehicle in order to issue a payment and we will need a few other documents.
I will email you the details.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have since traded in this vehicle and no longer require paint removal reimbursement. If they would like to reimburse me for the spin-mop that their workers stole off of my balcony I would appreciate that instead.
Regards,
