  In October 2022 I bought a turbo and actuator from ******* at proturbo in ****** *****. For $4500. I got the turbo and had it installed at a shop. I made it 200 miles down the road and the turbo failed. When it failed it caused oil to spray into the dpf system and catch fire. I called that day to talk to ******* and was told nobody worked there by that name. He is the general manager. I told them about my problem and they said ship it back and they would offer a credit since they didn't have one in stock. I didn't send it back and kept it for now incase this goes to court so I have proof of their equipment failing. This cost me over 30 thousand to fix my truck and ****a week in income over the two months it took to get parts to replace what their faulty equipment took out. At this point a refund is all in seeking buy I get no response when calling or emailing. If this doesn't get resolved I'll be seeking full amount of repairs, down time as well as cost of initial turbo. I attached one of the receipts from repairs of the truck after the turbo failed. I also have a letter from my certified mechanic that states the turbo failing was the cause of the extensive repairs being needed.

  Hello ******************* we are sorry you are experiencing issues with the turbocharger. 

   

   We can definetly start a warranty process and do a refund if the turbocharger is found defective however it is imperative we get the part sent out to us since we have to check that no foreign object damaged the turbo. As you might know a turbocharger works based on several external factors like Exhaust gases, oil and Air, it depends on clean air to flow through it, exhaust gases to feed the turbine and clean oil to lubricate the internal components.

  To start the warranty process we need the forms attatched filled out and once filled out we will provide you a prepaid return label to send the item to us for inspection, once inspected if it is determined a manufacturing defect we can definetly provide you a refund back to the card we have on file
