On 3/7/2023 we purchased a room at the Boardwalk Resort. On 3/8/2023, we realized our travel dates needed to change. I emailed and called the Boardwalk and no one answered. On 3/9/2023, I emailed again and called again. I was able to get someone on the phone and let them know that I needed to cancel, based on their policy. The man on the phone told me I was not going to get refunded and hung up on me. I have called multiple times and he has not answered the phone now. I am uploading copies of my purchase, screenshots of their website, screenshots of their cancellation on their reservation page, and screenshots of their cancellation policy from their terms and conditions. I want my money back.Business response

Hello,I have reached out to Boardwalk Resorts once, and no one has gotten back to me. I have been diagnosed with cancer and am going for surgery on January 10, 2023. I have asked that someone reach out to me before then to try to have my timeshare issues resolved. I have never had the opportunity to take advantage of my share due to not knowing the truth. I have been paying for a share that I can not use and have no desire to use now due to my health. I, ***********************************, struggle physically, mentally, and financially with everyday life, and the timeshare does not ease my stress. I can not afford to make any payments to the timeshare. My income goes towards doctor ***** and the everyday cost of living. I do not have the means to meet the financial obligations of Boardwalk Resorts. I have attached some forms from my doctors in hopes of receiving assistance with canceling my contract due to medical hardship.Thank you,***********************************Initial Complaint

Scammers!!! Booked room. Over charged for services not provided. Lied to about management, hung up on when I called to ask questions!!! Never called back. Room is paid in full and he cannot fully explain why I’m being charged double and for fees that do not pertain to my room reservation. He never sent a receipt until my phone call! He planned to pocket the money, scammed!!!
