We've bought newly constructed house in Aug 2021 and Kent Moore Cabinets was the contractor who has installed kitchen and bathroom cabinets there. Just few months after moving in we've noticed that paint started to pill off from some cabinets. We've reported this to the builder (GFO) at 11 months time along with other items. Eventually some people from Kent ********************** came to check what's going on with cabinets and said that someone will ************** them. The person later came and tried to repair the issues but said that he will not be able to fix everything as it appears to be a manufacturing defect. Then there was lots of back and forth with Kent ********************** but eventually they said that this is a water damage and they are not going to provide warranty repairs. I've tried to escalate it to someone there but they basically just ignore all requests at this time.Considering that the issues happened really soon after moving in and the fact that it actually happens in multiple places including guest bathroom that was used just couple times at that time, it does not look to me like a water dagame. And if they sell kitchen and bathroom cabinets that can't survive a year of light use, that is clearly not right to me.Customer response
