    Please people think before you go to KMC forklift for work. I had a very worst experience with this group. Thought of repairing my forklift in town to keep business in town like a good Samaritan but that was the biggest mistake. They hold my forklift for more than 40 days for changing break shoe in one side, not telling exactly when they will finish working on it. Gave me three different estimates, never stick to the right estimates, over charged me, more than the estimates I received from *******. Very rude female owner. Took advantage of my politeness. I lost business for not having my forklift in my shop on time. Very dishonest people to work with. Made scratches on my forklift as well which they agree to paint it. I have overpaid to this business for my work. You can imagine, just to diagnosis the problem they charged me $ 754 and stated that it took the tech 4 and 1/2 hours. Unbelievable. Never ever again, going to these folks. Find a better place where you are welcomed and not over charged. We are a small family-owned business.Very sad.Fats and Oils

    Thank you for leaving a review with your concerns about the service that you received from our team here at KMC Forklift. We do appreciate your business and I want to apologize for any wrong doings and misunderstandings that you believe occurred during your transgressions with our company. While I understand that the cost of diagnostics might seem high, we have a four hour minimum for any unit that is brought into our shop. That four hours is to give our team time to thoroughly wash the equipment as soon as we receive it, break the unit down so we can find the source of the problem(s), and let our parts department come up with a thorough estimate which is then provided to you. At this point, we leave it up to the customer to determine what repairs they would like to have done. We provided you with three different estimates due to you wanting to reduce the cost of repairs, therefore pricing and work being done was changed and a new estimate was provided. After receiving the last estimate, you called with concerns to which we scheduled an in person meeting so that we could discuss your concerns. During this meeting you stated that you only wanted one side of the breaks done. Once that was stated, we ordered parts and completed the job as requested. I am sorry that you feel the owner was rude, however I think tones would have been different had you not referred to her as a liar when she told you that she is the owner.
