I received a notice that was left from our front door stating that I need to scan the barcode in order to access the documents. I tried it and I was sued by this Business for the loan balance I owed from a lending club and it was sold to *********************, I don't have any information in regards to it. No email, haven't received any letter in the mail. I would like the business to send any documents thru my email and send me the signed original loan agreement from the original creditor.

I had two debts through **********, I paid this debt in April of this year and called to let ********** know that it had been paid off. They said I had to contact *************************, who intern said I had to contact Scott & Associates by sending an email to a ************************************************************** with proof that I had paid these debts off and that once they received everything showing that the debt was paid, they would contact Credit One and ************************* to let them know the debts has been paid. Then they would update the credit reporting agencies. Therefore, I emailed an email to ************************************************************** with all paperwork. I am still to this day getting calls and now I am getting text messages from Scott & Associates saying that I need to resolve my account. This should have already been taken care of and my credit report updated but nothing has been done!!!!!

I am rejecting this response because:   I only had and have ever had two Credit One accounts and I paid both of those off through Resurgent per the letters.  I will wait for the letter that the law firm has sent and go from there.  As of right now, I will not be paying out any more money if I have already paid the debts off.

The company claims to be a law firm with lawyers. Those lawyers are non existent and do not represent the creditor or make presents as witness in court. There is no mediation process. It is on suite from the court the cases are turned over to. Their goal is to have the Judge ***** judgment not to litigate discrepancys. The beneficiary of funds received from debtors is **************** Scott not the original creditor. They are a for profit debt collectors NOT a law firm.
