This place is absolutely horrible both to stay here and to work here. I used to work for ********* ********* branch of Motel 6 as well as stay there and that was no doubt the worst almost 2 years of my life. The owner has no idea what or how to do anything she adds on, made up little taxes and charges and steals peoples money. she treats people literally like absolute c*** and the only good reviews they have online are from the hundreds of made up ****** profiles the boss has the receptionists write up.I was lied to stolen from and much more, the way the owner at motel six southgate treats people is absolutely disgusting. A person fell threw the stairs and broke a leg as in literally walking down stairs and they crumbled and gave out due to neglect and no prior/proper upkeep, and the owner ***** did not once even inquire about the person or anything..and even though its illegal to keep a persons paycheck besides regular tax deductions or if you have a prior written reason that yourself signed (which I did not) we got into an argument because my hours were always messed up so I put in two weeks notice so she fired me on the spot, I told her fine just make sure my hours were right and she looked right into my eyes and said I dont care what the time clock says you are not getting another paycheck from me . Also not even to mention the hundreds of dollars in tools Im still trying to recover from there but no one ever can help.G6 Hospitality LLC (Corporate) Response

I wish I can leave less than one star. I booked one night and wanted to stay one more night. So I booked another night using Expedia. I went to office next morning and did proper transactions. After I took care all of the business and relaxing in my room, someone opened my door. After that about 20 mins later somebody was pounding my door in the middle of the night. I opened my door and saw two people, a man and a woman. They told me I didnt check out and I have to leave now. Wtf??? Dont people call the room before they come up? I turned out they charged $400 for not checking out. Whoever I did recheck in process in the morning forgot to pu me in the system. The guys who pounded y door in the middle of the night simply told me they were sorry and refund the $400 charge back in to my bank account. However, I didnt get the refund, so, if you go to motel 6 ********, use your credit card. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! THEY ADD EXTRA CHARGES ONTO YOUR CREDIT CARD!! Do not stay at the Motel 6 in *********, ******* at **************** They charge your credit card for extra nights or charging more than they should for the room. They also lie and add damage charges to your bill. When you call customer service they give you a vague answer that it says damage without any description. Demand an itemized bill. On my credit card they charged the damage as entertainment . That doesnt make sense yet customer service keeps referring you back to the location because it is a franchise. What kind of customer service is it to refer a person back to the location that stole money from a person? It doesnt! Maybe the ************************ should look into this business since you do not seem to care that they are taking money from people over and over and nothing is done. Look at all of the complaints here of similar scenarios. Why havent they lost their franchise? I called customer service and asked what the cancellation policy was at this location and they said 24 hours. My friend paid the next few nights for the person I rented the room for and that person ended up not coming back so she tried to cancel the room. Over 24 hours notice was given and the manager refused to refund her money. They also commingled our bills when they were completely separate by putting my signature on her receipt that she paid a full day after me. The assistant manager did not want to give me or my friend a receipt either after we paid. We had to ASK for it. Definitely take PICTURES when you arrive and when you leave if you choose to stay her and pay with a credit card because I promise you will be disputing false charges. Protect yourself!!!!! This is the worst place anyone could stay at, roaches taking v over the place remote to TV barely ?orks, toilet full of rust, shower has one temp. No bathtub like add said and I had to use same towels during whole stay. So when I went to go check out they refused to return my deposit due to my towels were dirty which when you walk in the room you have mud and dog c*** on the sidewalk. I booked a room on the 25th early that morning, thru expedia. When I got there to check in they would not accept the ** I had, I mentioned to the receptionist that my wallet was stolen and that was the only ** I had. It was issued by the State of ******** and had all my Information on it . They would not refund although it was booked just hours before and would not change the booking to the person I was with because they stated we both needed an **. I booked thru Expedia and reached out to them ,whom reached out to Motel 6 and they still denied the refund request. I did not use the booking because I was denied check in. I strongly believe I should get my refund back. The staff was rude as well and the manager would not even come out to talk. I had to book at another place that was twice as much ,whom accepted my ** with no issue and had top notch customer service. If this ********************** continues to treat their customers this way they will lose more business. Harassed by front desk for shutting my van **** at 4pm. I stayed at a motel six in ******* and they did not have a refrigerator so when I arrived with my food in my cooler, I needed ice. Unfortunately, their ice machine was out of order so I had to go to the store to get ice. When I arrived back in my room, my phone rang, and the front desk had let me know that I was shutting my van **** too loudly at 4 PM. This upset me greatly because I literally would not be shutting my van **** if their ice machine was working, or if they had provided a refrigerator. Meanwhile, I was woken up all night Long by guess using their key fobs to lock their ****s and sounding the horns of their cars. Not to mention that this hotel was on a street called ***************** with multiple lanes of traffic going morning, noon and night. I was really upset that I was harassed about shutting my van **** at 4 PM in the afternoon. I called the customer service line and she did not follow up with me like she said she would. Then, a few weeks later, I followed up again with customer service and they said thank you for bringing it to their attention and appropriate measures will be taken. This is for the Motel 6 downtown in ****** I had booked the hotel for 2 nights, but left after 1. Although it's a hotel 6 and standards shouldn't be too high, I did expect the basics to be met. In the bathroom there was what appeared to be blood or some other red substance on the tiles in the shower. It was obvious enough that cleaning staff would see it and at the minimum wipe down. The covers had a musty smell that made me feel like the sheets weren't changed after the last guest or 4. The biggest concern was that there were fleas in the room. Both myself and little brother woke up with bites around our ankles (no bed bugs, I checked around both beds before we got settled in) and later he saw a flea jumping around on the sheets. When I brought this to the front desks attention the man in the front was seemed very concerned and let me know a manager would call me the following day (which would have been a Sunday). It is now Tuesday and I actually had to call them. The lady that answered the phone seemed uninterested in knowing about the situation, and wasn't going to get a manager.G6 Hospitality LLC (Corporate) Response

I was at the motel 6 in ******* ******* last Saturday. This is the most nastiest place that I have ever stayed at. The toliet had spots on it. The shower had hair in it. My bed sheets and cover also had black and gray spots on it. When I talked with the attendants she looked at me all crazy and side ways.
