I purchased a vehicle from Driven Autoplex on 12/3/22. At the time of purchase they offed me GAP and an Extended Warranty. They confirmed that both would be 100% refundable at any time if I sold the vehicle. I sold the vehicle on 3/4/24. My credit union directed me to Driven Autoplex to seek my refund as they are the ones who initiated it and the credit union included the dollar amounts into the loan and that the refund had to come directly for the seller. I contacted finance and they directed me to email "admin@drivenautoplex" to request my refund. I emailed them with the contract attachments on 3/5/24. I have had zero response from anyone. I have 4 additional emails requesting a response stating they have received my request and when I can expect the refund. No one has yet to contact me. I called finance twice. The first time, I was hung up on because he stated that they would respond to my email when they had a chance because they we "short" handed. The second time which was today, when I asked who I was speaking with he refused to give me his name and forwarded my call to "admin" which of course, was a voicemail. I am *** up with companies taking your money and then refusing to refund it per signed contract!

This incident started after I bought a 2012 GTI with ****** miles from Driven Autoplex. *** arrived on the wrong day at the wrong time and showed up with a dead battery and no coolant in the car. Also found out in the first hour that the headliner was coming apart, driver rear window doesn't work, the car was dirty on arrival with the previous owner's trash still inside the car, the lights not working on the car, and the cold air intake not connected properly. This was all things never told to me about the car, which i have proof. I've tried contacting this dealership over at least 50 times in the last month and no response. They did contact me once and called me a liar on a ******** post and then the owner emailed me and told me to tell him what was wrong and it's been over 2 weeks and no response. I have pictures of all of these things, I would like for them to take fault for what they didn't tell me and come to a solution professionally. No response to me and blocking my ******** account, not answering my calls or voicemails is very unprofessional.

From my understanding customer was made aware of all issues with the vehicle. I will have the owner look into it. The person who sold the vehicle is no longer employed at Driven Autoplex.

On 8/18/2022 I bought a used 2015 *** 4Series from Driven Autoplex. I signed the contract and received my keys. On 2/24/23 I took my *** to **************** in ***** ***** to fix an oil leak that was covered under the warranty I agreed to and signed for on my contract. The service rep at **************** stated the warranty came back as voided. I contacted ValueMax at ************ and they advised me the contract was voided due to nonpayment from the dealer (Driven Autoplex). I was confused as I was never brought aware of the cancelation of this policy that was paid $3,500, signed and executed on the contract dated 8/18/2022. (Copy attached) However, I never received a fully executed contract as only my signature was present on the contract. When I called Driven Autoplex and spoke with *******************, he advised me that the company found a better deal and went with another company (************************ at ************). I advised him that was illegal as they couldn't change an executed contract without my approval and *************** I received a copy of this new policy, it did not have my signature on it. Turns out this warranty did cover much at all. And the cost was $2000 instead of $1500. I am unaware as to where the remaining $1500 was applied to. I was able to get the $2000 warranty refunded to my financing company. However, both warranty companies, my financing company ********************* and I have been unsuccessful in reaching the owner ************************* or receiving a response. This is fraud being completed on my contract without my knowledge or approval. After googling the reviews for this company, it turns out there are several more instances of the same practice. I have attached several documents for your review. Thank you

************** has taken ownership of the car; I understand she is requesting her down payment of ***** but this is not possible. As she has been in the car for over since November of 2022.

      Customer response

      06/27/2023

I am rejecting this response because:   I have been trying to resolve this since I purchased the vehicle. However, they would not respond or try to find a solution. I would have given the car back if that was an option. In addition, the contract should be voided considered the false information that was changed without my approval and the extra money they've taken that is not listed out on the contract. I absolutely do not accept this lack of accountability in their response.

We are trying to work with ************** but we dont feel we should give the 8k for a down payment on a vehicle she is still currently driving. would like to pay for the warranty as this is what the complete is about.

      Customer response

      09/20/2023

I would like the remaining $1500 back that I paid for the $3500 warranty. The warranty company paid $2000 and canceled the warranty. I will accept them paying for a new warranty that has the best coverage. I will not accept a warranty with the least amount of coverage. Then we have a deal and I am willing to end it.

      offer

Pay me $1500 that they took of my money they was outlined on the contract to be paid to the warranty company.

      Top Car Warranty paid for.

I purchased a 2017 dodge challenger hellcat from Driven Autoplex on February 8th, 2023 for over $52,000. They charged me sales tax and registration and title fees and told me that they would take care of the vehicle registration. To this date they have not registered or titled my vehicle to me. I later learned that they sold me the vehicle without having the title and had shipped me the vehicle without disclosing the damages that were on the car. It has been over a month and they have not registered my car so I am unable to drive it. I need them to register the car or if they do not have the title to give me a full refund plus more for the insurance I have been paying for a car that I cannot drive that they forced me to insure a month ago to get the car registered. I have contacted them multiple times by phone and email and the employees all act like they have no idea what's going on. I have requested to speak with the owner multiple times but he has failed to contact me. I have been given the runaround by this company and this is an unreasonable amount of time for a dealer to register a vehicle.

I purchased a 2019 dodge challenger May 20 2022 and I bought a warranty that I canceled on June 16 2022 before the 30days ended and I have been denied a refund and trying to give me less than what I paid I keep getting run around and excuses when I have emails and text stating that they will send the money to the bank and as of today January 27 2023 the bank have yet to receive my refund

Resource one is the credit union who bought the loan for the vehicle

I contacted Resource one I did not buy the warranty thru them I bought it from the dealership before they even purchase the loan for the car.

I would like for my complaint to be reopen.

Due to the false statement Driven Autoplex has stated. I bought the warranty from Driven Autoplex. Resource one credit union is not responsible for repaying a warranty purchased from a dealership, and Driven
Autoplex has not been in contact with my loan officer for the warranty payment.

I was reaching out about my complain case that was closed I attempted to contact ********************* and received no response. Because I feel the case was closed prematurely also the company did not respond back in a timely manner and they was not penalized any points from their A+ rating ,which I feel is not fair to a customer that wasnt treated fairly. I asked for mediation but no response from BBB.

I have reached out to Resource one again to see if they have received payment. the customer would not get this directly as it would go towards his principal balance. I have reached out to the warranty provider to request proof of cancelation.
