We hired Crown (owner *************************) in January of 2021 for three separate flooding issues at our house that went through our insurance company, State Farm. We had to move out of our house for 6 months. We discussed with Crown how change orders work and they agreed they could do the scope of work we were looking for, and so ****** assigned the reconstruction project to one of his subcontractors, LCC *** Services (GC- *******************************). The problems began when the cabinet maker that LCC *** used didn't complete the kitchen cabinets, and what was completed was an inferior product. They agreed to use a different cabinet maker, *****************************, to finish the project and redo the inferior cabinet doors. As the project dragged on, Crown was demanding final payment of $17,167.31 and threatened to put a lien on our house. We had to contact them several times to remind them the project was never completed (we still have no drawers and some doors) as LCC *** strung us along saying they were working with a new cabinet maker, but didn't sign a contract until summer of 2022. In total, we have paid Crown over $100k without including insurance. LCC *** is now claiming that they have not been paid for previous work and their numbers do not match ours or Crown's. I have attached the latest email exchanges. Our last email to ****** on September 8th has not been responded to at all. He has never provided the receipts for accounting we have asked for numerous times and our kitchen still remains unfinished, almost 2 years later. We paid three deductibles directly to Crown that were never accounted for and should have been applied to the reconstruction project and paid to LCC *** Services. There were other problems, such as damaged items by LCC *** Services, but at this point, our biggest complaint is the unfinished job and ******'s attitude that he was doing us a favor and no longer sees he has any responsibility to provide services, proper accounting, or even respond to our email.

      Hello,

Can we request additional time for response? The user this account was set up under is no longer with the company. We would like some time to review and respond accordingly.

We will reach out to ******************** with a full accounting of the work performed and work paid, and suggested next steps for resolution to get her kitchen reconstructed.  I regret deeply the delay in a response; we have recently added new roles here, and our former office manager and project manager who were responsible are no longer with Crown Restoration.

      Regards,
