In June of 2021 my neighbor and I had a 8 ft 188 feet long cedar fence installed. Cost for me was approximately $1,025 my Half. ***** was ok but two years later one end began to lean more and more every week. By then the neighbor had moved and a new person lives there now. I had ***************** come and look at it. He said it is due to wind damage. Quoted me $550 to repair posts if I had another new fence installed and $850 if only did repair. Was working with other neighbor on estimates for new fence when she suddenly died. Her Sister is now being forced to sell the house so cant get a new fence done now. Back This is why so much time passed before more was done about the back fence. To make matters worse the new owner of The hose behind me kept saying he would pay his half for repair but then became uncooperative about the matter! Now Ware fence wants $1,000 to repair the fence. The initial contract states poles would be installed at 30 inches deep in concrete and and extra $195 was paid to go through rock. I have had several fence companies here to look at the leaning fence and they said if the poles were put correctly they should not be leaning. I can provide documentation and photos of the fence if requested. Bottom line is I should not be help responsible for paying additional money to replace the posts after the fence had only been up for two years. The most I am willing to pay is $500 to have them fixed. The answer currently from *********** was to send a fence handyman here and he wants $1,300 to do the job. That Is even more than *********** wanted from me! He says he will lose money by doing this but this situation in not any of my fault. Again, my neighbor wont pay anything so if Left as is the fence will eventually fall over and it will costs much more to have it fixed or replaced! It doesnt make any sense that he will not help pay now for the repair. He also has a pool and it requires a fence around it.u did not want to go this route. I would like to get resolved.

      *********************,
We have communicated multiple times since 2023 . Many of which state, you will get back to me after you get with your neighbors.Your neighbor called me and refused to talk to you about any of the issues you were having.  We discussed back in 2023 to offer to do some repairs for $550. You did not accept this offer and did not email us again until a year later.  We made repeated attempts to work with you and resolve the issues you had. None of which you were willing to accept. In addition, we sent someone over to do some repairs at no cost outside the warranty period.  We warranty our work and pride ourselves on customer service.
We are not willing to come do any repairs for $500 as you have requested. The warranty period was up before the 1st time you even called us.
We simply were unable to make you happy. I wish this could have ended on better terms. We wish you the best.

I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in my first message, I was told ware fence (through an email) that they would fix the back fence for $550 if I paid them to install a new fence on west side of my yard. They told me $850 to do the back if I did not have a new fence on west side replaced by them. So for them to say they tried to work with me just really is not correct information. The other answer from them was for me to hire a handyman that works on fences and he would be more yet. I had Ware fence come and do another estimate for the west side because I felt they would back their product that being the issues of the back fence. I found  out quickly that is not the case.  I have never heard of a business telling a customer we wont fix an issue unless you spend more money with us!  Also there is apparently no kind of warranty that was provided but a fence costing over $2,000 should not be having poles leaning and boards popping loose in two years time. Like I said other fence people have looked at it and said with the holes were not dug down at least 30 inches, or concrete was not properly prepared.  This fence should withstand wind blowing if it was done correctly. The initial invoice even has a $200 charge to go through extra rock.  I just assumed this company knew what they were doing so I did not go out and watch the workers. Another issue with delay is that the current neighbor kept telling me he would pay his share to aware fence himself. I told the fence company this and they kept telling me I was responsible to get the portion of money from the neighbor and pay them the full amount!  I went back and forth with the neighbor about this and this caused a delay in trying to get this fence fixed!  After a long time passed they agreed they would get the neighbors portion of money.  Also the lady next door passed away while were we working on this and that added even more delay. I resent being portrayed as the bad guy and told I could not be appeased with their offers!  Now this is all dumped on me to deal with.  Left as is it will become more of a problem for the neighbor because he has a pool.  ******** has ordinances in place about fences and one of them is the fence can only lean a little. As is it will eventually fall over or at least half of it will. There are 13 posts that actually need to be spend may have to get the city inspector involved in this if codes were not followed.  I am very disappointed in this company and the way I have been treated by them. *********** came and secured some nails but that is only a bandaid for this problem.

      Regards,
