      In Dec 2022, I hired Garage Magic of ****** to put install a flake finish for my garage floor and quartz finish flooring on our front porch, back porch and sidewalk. Per the contract, I paid half the price ($6000). They started work in Feb and the garage came out ok, but the quartz finish on the porches and sidewalk was terrible. They attempted to fix it three times and it still did not look good. I sent several pictures to the installer, office manager and owner showing the bad work each time. The project took over 5 months to finish (Jan * June). Bad weather was partially the cause for delay. In May, the owner send me an email stating the work looked great and I needed to pay. I invited him to physically see the work but he never came out. I spoke with him on the phone to complain, invited him to see the work in person but he refused. Instead he told me the job was done and I needed to pay. The cost was over $12000. Every time they tried to fix their poor installation they only made it worse * streaks on the porch where they applied the base coat, urethane splashes on the stone walls, huge spots on the sidewalk. I decided it was best to stop having them try to fix so I finally paid them. Per the contract, I was supposed to receive the warranty for both the garage and the porches and sidewalk. I have sent multiple emails after my final payment requesting the warranty but still have not received it. I am asking for your help to get the warranty.

      September 9, 2023 *************************** ******************************************************************** BBB Great West + Pacific *********************************************************************************************** Merchant name:Garage MagicTransaction date:October 18, 2022 Transaction amount: $1,300.00 Disputed amount: $550.00 Dear Better Business Bureau According to a copy of our November 2022 calendar, Garage Magic was scheduled to do our garage flooring on November 9, 2022 from 9 AM 6 PM. You can see it scratched out on the bottom of that date.We have no record of exactly when we cancelled that appointment. We obviously did not cancel within 72 hours of the October 18, ********************************************************* November. That is why we are just requesting the $550. Attached are some November and December credit card statements that show purchases and refunds from both ********** and Lowes between November ****, 2022. These were for the initial kit, extra sprinkles, extra epoxy, and the return of some leftovers. Based on these dates, we believe my husband *** called Garage Magic sometime between November 4-9, 2022 to cancel the installation and request a refund. The only physical evidence of a refund request is **** email dated April 7, 2023.I am also attaching 2 pictures of our garage floor to prove we did it ourselves. One picture shows the uneven pattern of the sprinkles, and the other shows the uneven distribution of the epoxy topcoat. Garage Magic says they take pictures of each project, so they should have one for us dated November 9, 2022 if they claim they did the work. If they do make this claim, we would like to see the pictures.I hope this is the information you need, and we appreciate your consideration.Sincerely,*************************** P.S.Apparently, the Colorado Address is no longer in business.
