Our contract with GNRG includes a clause guaranteeing first year solar production of 27.9Mwh. This rate is 10% less than the predicted output of our system. Our actual production was 20.8Mwh, 15% below our guaranteed rate, so our actual production is only 75% of the amount we paid for. The system is mechanically functional. The system design did not properly account for shadows cast by the roof onto the panels. By contract, they should add additional panels to compensate for the shortfall, however, there is not enough roof space and light to actually do this. We have called and emailed the company many times since October. The response is always 'we are looking into it and we have elevated this problem to management and we will get back to you soon.' They have never actually called back with any resolution. Our installation experience was also a nightmare requiring multiple re-installations over a month's time to get the system functional. It also took a significant amount of persistence to even get the company to acknowledge that there was a problem despite the system producing less than 10% of it's capacity. During which time, we were treated rudely, insulted and ignored by the company representative. Ultimately, we discovered that the system had been incorrectly and dangerously wired.We also paid an above market rate for the system.Considering the fact that the system is producing significantly below our contractually guaranteed rate and the general amount of stress and frustration we have had dealing with this company, we believe a fair compensation would be refund of 25-50% the value of the purchase price.Customer response

Paid $80,000.00 plus and had to tell them how to install, they still have not got it right.system is not right, have hired another company to fix and will be Sueing for lost revenue after 2 1/2 years of not working properly, plus the cost of hiring someone else to fixBusiness response
