Texas Auto Value purchased my car back in March. They failed to register the car before they sold it. The new owner also failed to register the car. Now I am receiving letters from Texas telling me I owe money for damages "my" car is causing. I contacted the owner a few months ago when I was told I owed money for a moving violation. Yesterday I received a letter from the City of Arlington stating that I am responsible for damages to city property (I guess "my" car mowed down a street sign). It is unacceptable that Texas Auto Value failed properly register the vehicle. Now I am wasting my time dealing with legal matters that are not my fault.Business response
