      Hire this company back in March 2024 to install a cover over our existing patio and pour some concrete. The job was contracted to start on April 4th. Due to the days of rain that Texas had received; ************ informed us that he was behind on his current jobs. On 3/8/2024, **** texted that all the material had been purchased. On Friday, April 5, **** texted that they would be starting the following Tuesday, April 9, 2024, and did not show or call. On April 15, 2024, we received another text that he would be starting that next morning, April 16, 2024. I received a text informing me that his truck had broken down and that he would be there for sure on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. We have sent text messages after text messages and calls after calls, that have gone unanswered or not responded too. And when he does respond, we keep getting the same answer I will get to you guys when I can.

      I paid *************************, business name Cody's Covers $580 as money up front for materials needed for an awning which was to be installed. I wired him $500 on March 12 and another $80 on April 6th. Today is April 12th, four weeks after initial payment. Since then, he has not shown up to start the job, has not returned my messages and will not tell me when and if he will be coming. After waiting 2 weeks over the date of completion, I am now filing a complaint against him with yo, the BBB, as well as filing a civil suit with ******************* on Tuesday, April 16th. I hope something can be doe about this person, he is a liar and a thief and I fully regret not checking hi out with the BBB before hiring him. Please feel free to contact me if you need any more information. I have electronic supporting documents of both wire transfers made, as well as the original "contract". Will download only if you need them.

      **** initially came and gave us a quote for a patio cover. We came to an agreement and signed a contract and paid him half up front. **** kept delaying the start of the job and ended up just showing up once. He never finished the job and we have not received and money back. He has ignored any attempts we have made to try and resolve this issue. This is something he has done to other people as well so beware.

      Due to your concrete contractor delaying our schedule is what set the work behind schedule causing cost of materials to increase is what caused you to get very angry with me Ive answered your calls every time in fact I ask that you please allow us to come complete the cover after we have already set post if so please text or call ************ or ************ we would be glad to get this resolved and have you completed!

      I hired **** to build a patio cover, which is not fully completed as the trim around the bottom of the posts have not been done correctly and he said he was coming back to do it but has not. I paid **** at 3 different stages, down payment, framing, and completion of project, but with the last payment he said that the check wasnt able to be cashed as there were scribbles and asked if I could send the last payment electronically, which I did. A couple of days later, the check was cashed, and when I tried to contact **** by phone he woulndt answer and sometimes respond via text until he stopped responding. **** never returned the money for the check that he cashed on top of the zelle transaction.

      ************************* came to my house on Saturday February 26th to give me an estimate of $10,500 to get my backyard patio cover with storage inclusive. He wrote and signed a contract for $10,500 which he break down the works needed to be done and the amount for each jobs. I have attached copy of the contract to this write up. That same day I mentioned to him that I want to paint the 1st floor of my house which includes my entire living room, stairs case, visitors restroom and kitchen area. He said his uncle does painting and he can paint those areas for me and he said if I can gave them the paint job he will give me $500 discount on the patio cover job and he will do the patio cover for $10,000 and I said that's fine. He promised to bring a proposal for the painting job so that I can sign it. He requested for $5000 to get the patio job started and I wrote him a check for that amount on that same day Feb 26th and he promised to finish the patio job within 1 week. He brought is men to pour the patio concrete and install a 5 wooden poles 6 days after that and he requested for more money to keep the job going. I zelle him to total of $3500 1st week of March. He called me the following week and said he can get the painting job done for $1900 and he can start the next day. He didn't show up for about 5 days and I called him to come and finish the patio job. One of is guys showed up at my house the next day to move my living room furniture in the one place for the painting job. The next day ****** showed up asking for more money in other to paint the entire first floor and I told him to cancel the painting job because they haven't started and he's using that as an excuse to finish my patio job. I told him I will pay the full $10500 on the contract for the patio cover and not to worry about the $500 discount. ****** left since that day and never show up to finish the job. He has my $8500 with him and he only completed the patio concrete which is $3500 of the estimate.

      Hello Im just recovering over a surgery I just received this complaint and I would like to say as well as I have 3 other witnesses we did everything we could possibly do in order to satisfy customer they would not let us inside to do work some days also we simply ask that they simply purchase there flooring with funds owed to us once we completed they pay us remaining balance

      On 11/9/2021 we agreed with **************** *********************, ************************* ) to have a 14x19 Cedar Covered Patio built and a 9x10 outdoor kitchen framed. **************** was paid as agreed with a Cashier's check in the amount of $5,520 ( half of the total cost) on this day as well. On 11/11/2021 **************** installed 2 8x8 Cedar Columns ( as agreed) into the concrete patio that was being poured on the same day. We were told that he would return within a week to start on the framing of the out-door kitchen so that progress could be made. The next week on 11/16/2021 **************** informed us that he was not feeling well and that his father would frame the work for us. on 11/16/2021 *********************** came out and agreed to do the framing of the outdoor kitchen that afternoon or the next day in ****** absence and he never showed back up. Since then, there have been repeated promises of starting our job but no action has been taken and with the numerous empty promises being made we simply want to move on and resolve this issue. We have reached out to **************** via phone, text and email and as agreed on 12/2/2021, materials and money owed would be returned to us by 12/7/2021. As usual **************** has failed to meet the agreed upon date and continues to say that materials have been gathered and that they will be delivered to us as well as money owed but never meets an agreed upon timeframe. As such prior to initiating any legal action we are attempting to resolve the issue. As stated we are asking that all materials purchased be delivered to us with receipt of purchase and any money owed minus the cost of materials be returned to us Via Cashier's Check. If receipts can not be proved for materials, we are requesting a refund minus market value for the placement of the 2 8x8 cedar columns by 12/14/2021. We paid **************** in a timely manner to start on our project and as such we expect that since we have agreed to cancel the job with cause, no continuous delay should be made from him
