      -I purchased the vehicle via photos online 5/17/24 -I paid $31k for the vehicle -The business sold me a vehicle that only had minor scratches in the ad -The nature of the dispute is that when the vehicle was delivered to me at the airport on 5/29/24. There was a large crack in the windshield over the lane departure camera. This is unsafe to drive and will not pass inspection. It is now costing me $1100 to fix it. The shop states it was not there when they had it. -The business has done nothing to try and resolve this

      Vehicle never had any cracks or chips on the windshield. Customer did not complain or raised any concerns at the time of delivery or after delivery. He only brought up the issue a week or so later when our salesman *****, contacted him to check if he was happy with his car.  Whatever happened to the windshield must have happened after he  took the delivery of the vehicle. Please see attached image.

      I am rejecting this response because: The statement about when I brought up the issue is a bold face lie. As you can see from my text with **** on the day of the pick up. I had flight delays and I was not able to meet the driver until 6:30 pm at the airport. I had been traveling all day with my kids, I had luggage and mouths to feed. I noticed the windshield was cracked when I drove away from the airport. I was so mad and so exhausted that I was not going to deal with it that evening. The very next day 5-31-24 I responded to **** with my concern. I believe them that it had no cracks at the dealer. That said, we did have bad weather the day before I was flying into ******. I asked him if everything was ok, he said yes. It's possible his driver got a rock chip on the way to deliver it to me at the airport. In this case, his driver did not report it to anyone and now I am stuck with a $932 bill for a broken windshield on a car I paid cash $31k weeks before pick up. It's sad that a business will not take ownership and do the right thing.
