I purchased a firearm from this company on 02/22/2024. When I received the firearm, it was defective out of the box. I emailed the company several times and did not hear back from them in over a week. I called them and spoke with someone who stated he would email me the information to send the firearm off for repair. I never received the email with the return information and attempted to contact the company again with no response.From what I was told l, I have to send the firearm off to have it repaired and that it would take up to 90 days to repair. Cimarron Firearms sold me a $740 firearm that was defective out of the box. They are terrible with customer service and their repair timeliness is astronomical. Basically I have a broken product that Cimarron is not fixing and I'm out $740. Buyer beware with this company, do not purchase from them.Initial Complaint

Purchased new Cimarron manufactured 1858 New Model Navy .38 special revolver from Buds Gun Shop in December of 2022, via the internet. Once received, I discovered a manufacturing defect regarding the barrel, which was not centered with the cylinder frame. I contacted Cimarron Firearms and was provided a return form and pre-paid shipping label. I sent the revolver to Cimarron Firearms for warranty work on Dec. 31st, 2022. When I spoke with a customer service representative at **********************, I was informed that they accepted liability for the repair and promised a 68-week time frame for the repair. It's now February 9, 2024. Cimarron still has not made the repair. I've contacted them approx. four times. Each time I'm told they have it and will get it repaired right away. On one occasion I was told that the customer service representative would get to the bottom of the issue and call me the next day. The phone call never came. I've waited one year, a month and 9 days as of this date (2-9-24). The warranty card that accompanied the new revolver stated that all warranty work will be repaired and returned in 6-8 weeks. At this point, I have no reason to believe that Cimmaron Firearms intends to follow their own warranty, nor do I feel confident that I will see my revolver returned. In essence, Cimmaron Firearms has failed to return my property. Should there be no resolution here, I will seek criminal charges. Please contact ******** and advise them this complaint. I received a defective product (revolver- Model No3 1st American .45 LC 8" barrel) from them around the fist of January 2023 and it was returned to them on 01/12/2023 for warranty repair. I called them to make sure that they received it and they verified that they did receive it on 01/12/2023. June of 2023, I did not hear anything from the company therefore I called them on June 14th, June 16th, June 21 and June 29th in order to determine why the long wait on the repair. I was then told that they were waiting for replacement parts from ***** (Uberti). I asked if they would then go ahead and replace the revolver with another one since they could not get the parts that were needed to fix my revolver. I was told that they could not because they didn't have another of the same product to replace it with, but yet, I saw the same product listed in inventory on various distribution websites. December 18th of 2023, I called the company again and they said that they are still waiting on parts from ***** and that they "could not" send me a replacement revolver and I would have to keep on waiting. It is now January 29th **** and I am without the product that I purchased from them a year ago. I hope you can assist me with this issue.
