We use an EAP code for services. There is an active code open and available to bill against, so there is no need to bill our insurance or charge **. Somehow, we have still been charged 2 separate times (pending a third charge) for services, $109.59 each) on April 1 and April 7. I have now called a total of eight times since April 2 to get this matter resolved. Each time I am told that I will receive a call back from *************************, practice manager, as she is the only person with authority to do anything. To this day, I have not received a call back. The practice is being taken over by another company, and Im sure this matter will never get resolved once that happens. I simply want communication from the practice manager, as promised, and a refund for the incorrectly billed services. My husband adores his therapist, ******, so our only wish is that this can be handled in a timely manner so he can continue his sessions as expected.Initial Complaint

I was given a tentative date for an appointment I said I may not be able to attend due to work. My payment is covered by a third party through work and I am not responsible for paying for the sessions. I was not able to go to the session as I was asked to work last minute. The therapist then charged my personal account 75 dollars without warning.Initial Complaint

I have been seeing a therapist that is licensed through Apple Counseling. My copay has been $20 for each visit, which I have paid. However, I woke up to a random $150 charge to my card on file. I did not authorize an additional charge and was not notified of any price increase or changes. Therefore, I contacted Apple Counseling billing and spoke to Fior, who stated that she would put in for a refund because she saw that this was an incorrect charge. She also refused to send me email confirmation of such. When I requested to speak to a manager, she refused this right and stated, "it's not my problem." I then asked that my card be taken off file as I no longer trusted their billing practices. **** then stated that she would "request to have my card taken off file.."This practice violates the Patriot Act in that this charge is unauthorized. I am requesting an immediate resolution to this issue in the form of a refund.Customer response
