6/19/2023 I call the Geek Squad from Best Buy to help me with a problem with my computer. This Geek Business Solutions some how got on the line and offered me a better deal. $780.00 for 5 years. sounded good. They spent some time in my computer. They asked me to pay by check by scanning the check (should have been a red flag) Of course by the time I called my bank the money had been taken out. I took the laptop to a computer repair to see if any damage had been done to the lap top. The repair cleaned up the computer. Geek Solutions had done nothing. They left an icon on the laptop but it did not connect to to anything. I called Geek Squad from Best Buy and told them about this so they would be aware of what happenedInitial Complaint

THE FOLLOWING IS THE EMAIL RECEIVED THIS MORNING. I didn't subscribe to this service nor do I authorize them to deduct $299.99 from my account! The phone number in the email has a message: "Call rejected". I don't know what to do if they in fact have access to any of my accounts. I've never used their service. Their website ************ does not allow direct contact. I'm thinking this is a Phishing scam. PLEASE REPORT BACK TO ME. David S******************************************** Geek Solutions ********************* 7:58 AM (4 hours ago) to me Dear Client, Service account: ********* This is a quick notification for your Geek Solutions account. Your annual maintenance service expires on April 27, 2022. As per our service terms, your account has been processed to renew for another year. $269.99 has been deducted from your bank account. This information should appear on your bank statement within 48 hours. Please contact us at************* if you have any questions related to your service or if you wish to cancel it. Thank you, Team Geek Solutions
