Absolutely beautiful table! I found this maker on Instagram and I was a little nervous doing business over Instagram- but this furniture builder is absolutely legitimate and his work is BEAUTIFUL!!! I was hoping to have a custom made table for Thanksgiving, and it was delivered today. (The delivery guy who is a contract guy was awesome too/ and spoke highly of Jantzen.) The table is heirloom quality and his prices were lower than some Ive seen. Im very happy.Review from Kate C

I'll post ratings for different criteria for a more nuanced review:Quality: 5/5 - No complaints here. A beautiful table was crafted and delivered: Top quality and at a reasonable price!Timeliness: 5/5 - Table was delivered on time (we agreed to "sometime in October" and I received it on 10/17).Responsiveness: 4/5 - I do see a couple of times where my message was read and not responded to, but even so he will respond within the day.Communication: 3/5 - This is probably where I had the most issue. Responses were short and vague at times, which ngl did have me worried (I kept asking when in October and he would reply "sometime in October as discussed, which wasn't wrong, but I would have appreciated a more concrete "early, mid, or late October"). Also, no updates were given unless I asked (I usually ask for how the table is going every month since end of July when I booked the table, and he would simply reply "timeline is still October"). I think this business could benefit with better customer service, but will give it a pass since it is a small business run by the owner.Overall: 5/5 - Bottom line is I got the table I asked for in the timeline we agreed upon, which is why I give this business a full rating. You may experience some frustration in communication, but in my case everything was delivered exceptionally in the end.Review from Carl P

We found Jantzen Furniture via Instagram and loved his work. We love our table, that was made to our specifications. The table has proven to be durable with us having a little one. I love that its real wood and will last a lifetime.Review from gina l

I have never worked with a worse company, the business owner ****** ******* is extremely unprofessional and should not be managing a business. They took my money, over promised on work, and led me on for months only to say after countless attempts of reaching out to them that they would not make the table i paid for.

(The customer was fully refunded before this review was written. The review insinuates that I have kept her money, which is false. Contact me or BBB as we both have documentation that the order was fully refunded, and that it was before this review.)
After receiving a few rude and pushy comments from the customer I refunded the deposit, which was all that had been paid. The customer then became extremely aggressive with legal threats and "fraud" comments on multiple platforms. They threatened to *** me if I did not make the table, again note, after I had refunded the money. Quid pro quo.
The customer stated their attorney recommended falsely slandering me publicly rather than take legal action, as it would harm my business more.
I don't like have to respond to a review like this, but it is necessary. The customer was mad, and tried to hurt me and my business for no reason. Refunds happen all the time in the custom business. No one deserves to be slandered for refunding a customer who was being rude and pushy throughout a custom made table process.

I ordered a buffet/sideboard from ****** and it is gorgeous. I told him the type of wood and legs I wanted and he came up with a beautiful style that fits perfectly in my living room. I will be ordering a dining room table from him next. Overall excellent experience!!
