This is for flight ***** from IAD to MEX on November 11 at 3:38pm. The front desk associate name Dora had horrible attitude toward me. She made me check in my small carry on bags stating that it is required by the United States our carry on bags weight has to be under 10kg. Upon checking the internet, that is not true. She still made me check my bag in. In the meantime, when we were boarding, everyone else had their carry on bags but me. I notice I am the only Asian person on this flight. I do not understand why I was treated differently. I travel for work monthly, this requirement has never been an issue for me until now. I want to let you know I will not be traveling with Aeromexico going forward again and will leave reviews to let everyone know about this experience so they are aware.Review from Luis F

Flight and vouchers were a mess we lost $1200 when airline was the one that had recall on boing plain and changed our flight. Employee said we had vouchers we could redeem within a year. Since our flight was changed and we got back mid January 2024 instead of the beginning we assumed we had the vouchers until the end or beginning of next year. Ends up being they go by the purchase date (July 2023) which we were never told and to top it off it wasn’t vouchers it was a one time same flight kind of thing when employee mentioned it would be vouchers more than once! Every time we called they struggled to find any of the information regarding these vouchers. I asked to speak to a higher up and they never wrote back. Do not fly with this airline they do not help and lie a lot. This review makes me select one star when I would rather give them none!Review from John M

I had an extremely negative experience with Aeromexico and would encourage travelers not to book flights with them. We booked a flight with them about 10 months in advance. We then unexpectedly learned that my wife had gotten pregnant in between when we booked our flight and when we were planning to travel (and would be delivering our child just a week or so after the scheduled flight, such that she could not safely fly at the time of the scheduled flight). We reached out to Aeromexico and were initially told that this might entitle us to a refund or some other relief. We then submitted a letter regarding the situation, as requested by the Aeromexico representative. But then, a new customer service representative claimed to us that we were not entitled to any relief under their medical exemptions policy. The representative refused to provide a copy of that policy (and it is not available online), but claimed that under the terms of the policy we were out of luck. Some representatives then claimed we might be able to change our flight without a $200 change fee, but others (and the reservations representatives we then spoke to) insisted that to make any change to our flight, we would have to pay $200 each ($400 total) -- even though my wife was unable to fly on the originally scheduled date. Our interactions with customer service were also punctuated by rudeness, failures to respond, or delays in responding (I often had to follow up two or three or four times to get any response). It's not an overstatement to say that this is the worst experience I have had with any airline (or really, any business). I will never fly Aeromexico again and encourage others to be very careful in booking a flight with them -- they are best avoided entirely.Review from Fred B

I had my vacations this July from SFO to Acapulco and every single fly was a mess, the airline changed my seats even when they charged me extra money to select my seats and at the last fly back to SFO the charged me almost $150 dollars for a 29 lbs luggage, when we landed in SFO that luggage was missing after waiting I when to report that issue at the counter, a lady took my luggage tag to stick on the report and gave me copy of the report and a phone number to call, long short story it has passed one week and found out that they never did the report claim to find my luggage cuz from a 1000 different numbers I been calling the employees from Aeromexico asked me for a report number the one should be generated from SFO and no number is been found, I leaved 5 voicemails at the number that is in the copy I have and no one have called me back. I asked Aeromexico to reimburse me what I paid for the service of the registration of my luggage and they said no possible, a service I paid and didn’t get cuz my luggage never arrived, is been a nightmare calling and calling to many numbers and no one is been helpful is incredible that I have to be the one calling them when they should be the ones calling me to give me updates about the process but NO, they haven’t call me because they don’t care I’m still dealing with this and see if my luggage appears and how long will take, and now I won’t ask just for what a paid for the overweight of my luggage also under the law they will need to compensate me for all this time is been passing without my luggageAeromexico Response

There was a mistake with the name on my ticket. Been trying to get in touch with the company for days. We have booked it through Expedia. Our return flight is with AeroMexico From Cabo and we are flying into Cabo with United Airlines. United Airlines solved the situation without an issue unfortunately cannot see the same for Aeromexico. Expedia was trying to get in touch with them and so did Delta Airlines. We tried putting the claim through like we did for united and we were denied after calling them numerous times getting rude responses putting the blame on Expedia. They were forcing me to purchase another ticket. Total scam Never a supervisor to speak to. I was told I need to wait for days on end to find an English-speaking supervisor. Will NEVER EVER use this airline! And will make sure to warn everyone not to use this airline. The reviews speak for themselves.Review from michael P

Aeromexico changed my reservations from non-stop to a connecting flight. This change didn't work out for me for several reasons, including leaving a day later. Therefore, I had to cancel it. I had paid for a hotel for 9 nights for a total of $483.64, with my discounts. This was a non-refundable reservation. When I cancelled my flight, I requested that Aeromexico pay for my hotel, since it had been the change of flight that had made this an issue. They refused to pay for my hotel. I find that Aeromexico has total disregard for their customers and I will look to another airline to complete my travels in the future.Review from Maria Cristina R

Stay away from this company. Traveling with Aeromexico has been a nightmare. We purchased our tickets in advance and we received an email that one of our flight time was changed which made our connecting flight only 20 minutes in Mexico City. We call Aeromexico so they can help adjust our flight - the customer service guy messed up all of our flight itinerary. Our flight was originally a domestic flight from Tijuana to Tulum and according to him there were no more flights available so he put us on an international flight from Tulum to Atlanta from Atlanta to Mexico City and from Mexico City back to Tijuana. This guy gave us no other options so we ended up sticking with that flight. The day of the flight comes and we arrive in Mexico City to our connecting flight 1hr and 30 min before our next flight to Tulum and the reps tell us that we won’t make it to our flight before our connecting flight was at another airport 1 hr and 45 minutes away. We go to the Aeromexico ticket station and of course they can’t help and are forced to purchase a whole new ticket because supposedly once you miss one of your flight it cancels out the entire ticket (which I think it’s untrue because it still showed it was not cancelled on the ***** Look for another airline because Aeromexico is constantly changing your flight and set you up for failure so you can purchase over priced tickets.Review from Julliann D

I purchased a ticket from czm to tijuana, while I was choosing my seats it showed me an option to upgrade to premier, which would give me better seats, priority boarding and checked baggage, i purchased that and it let me choose seats only on the first leg of the flight, worst part it will not let me add check in luggage, it kept charging me 120$ for one check in luggage for two people. I called customer service they said that the premier only applies to the first leg of the flight, they did not show any of this on the website/app, they couldn't cancel or refund the add on even if this happened less than 12 hours, and they said to try and get the bags checked in when i get there. scammy business practices.
