date of complaint-2/12/2022 amount paid- 36.25 a week for a total of 18 weeks I am enrolled in a court ordered program and pay out of pocket for a 2 hour class once a week. I had to miss a class due to work last saturday and had to pay for that class today. leaving me still owing 36.25 for todays class to get me up to date. I get paid on the 15th. 3 days away. I did not have the money. Normally those issues are discussed after class, and can be worked out. There are people in the class who have been behind before and worked it out. I was not given that opportunity today. Instead I was told I had 2 minutes to pay or she would put me out. It is an on- line class. Now my issue is not with being put out for non payment. I get it. She doesnt have to work out anything with us, my issue is with her demeanor when dealing with these issues and while running the class in general. She discusses financial concerns in front of the group making you feel bad because everyone finds out your broke, constantly threatens to kick you out of the group, and makes the claim that she is doing us a favor by taking payments, she wants it all up front. When trying explain yourself, she cuts you off, talks over you, and if you keep on, she'll kick you out of the group forfeiting the money you paid for that session. She has the attitude that most jailers do when you land in jail. Shut up and do what I say because you got no choice. I am not in jail, and do not like to be treated as an inmate. I pay my money, and even though it is court ordered, I made the decision to choose her business, therefor, I feel I am a customer and deserve to be treated as one. All of us that attend the group are all people with problems, but we still deserve respect. I believe that in all honesty she should be a client taking the course not running it. I also see on her website she claims to be BBB accredited and on your site it says she is not. Who is wrong here? Unprofessional with sensitive topics like finances.

      Good afternoon Mr. Gilberto,

We understand clients may have a hard time making payments that’s why we offer the payment plan of $30 a week. Now if your situation has changed and you’re unable to pay $30 a week, you may need to speak to your officer or pull yourself from the program until your financial situations has change.

Mr. Gilberto it is our goal that all clients complete successfully, that’s why we have a 99% completion rate. We are one of the only  programs that is still offering $30 a week. Most programs have hwent up tremendously on their prices.

Also Mr. Gilberto I am so sorry that you feel like that I am a Stern facilitator,  but we must keep order because we are not in the office anymore we are online. The reason why we rank number in both Dallas and in Houston is because we work hard to keep a structural program, due to the fact of Covid and coming out of the office, and being online now . Structure allow us to teach the curriculum well and give each client what they need.

Finally, I do not appreciate you cursing me out as you exit the line. We sent you a message in reference to your payment plan twice And you never responded to us. Because you cursed me out as you exit the line in front of all the group members we will have to speak to your officer before you can return to the group. You also have to bring your balance up and make your payment each week going forward.

If you have any questions please call our office between 10 and 7 PM Monday through Friday Or speak to your officer.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16760534, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I am unsatisfied with the answer given, She has now started lying accusing me of cussing her out in front of everyone, when In fact, I did not address her her at all. She has taken my money, treated me disrespectfully, and this is the person who they try to put in charge of my future. She has no clue as to my mental health issues, she was supposed to provide some some of intake interview which she did not, and therefor does not even know if I am a qualified candidate for this class. Also is she accredited by the better business bureau or not? She claims to be but your website says otherwise. If I find no resolution here, I will still seek resolution elsewhere.
