We as a dealer bought a vehicle from Tx Auto after calling to get a description of the vehicle. This dealer flat out lied about the condition of the car. They said it was solid and described it as nice. It had hail damage so severe that we had to replace the hood. Every body panel looked like it was painted with a spray can. We contacted them and they became angry & refused any help. I personally DO NOT see how they remain in business.Review from Amber L

Do not do business with this company. We bought a truck that we knew was used and had been in an accident but they reassured us and buy the extended warranty, no problem. We drove off with it and within the first 24hrs, alerts started coming on stating the system isn’t working and airbags are disabled, brought it back as that’s unsafe. They said they would fix it, days later they give it back and say they can’t figure it out, we drive off and it breaks down because they didn’t put oil in the engine! And this was just the beginning to months of back and fourth issues and no resolution or working Vehicle. They had no business selling us an unsafe vehicle! They should be shut down and not allowed to do business in American again! Very Shady and unlawful.Review from Michael m

Do not under any circumstances do business with this company. We purchased a car wholesale via manheim ove. We are 1500 miles away we arranged a transport service to pickup the vehicle and ship it. We confirmed the day prior with the dealership the car was ready to go. Transport company showed up to get the car and the dealership refused to release the vehicle. I then called in to inquire why and figure out how to proceed. They gave me a full run around nd couldn't give me a reason as to why MY purchased car could not be released . I then contacted a manager for that company he told me he will figure it right out and call me back. After 1 hr went by and the transportation company waiting for me I tryed calling back they ghosted my call and text. This company is shady do not do business with them I am now trying to figure out how to have my 20+ thousand dollars refunded.Review from Gabriel G

The worst experience I have ever had. If I could do 0 stars I would. I purchased a 2019 Alfa ***** from this dealership and it has been very regretful. This car has had so many problems and I wish this was an exaggeration. I bought this car back in late March from the salesman Diego ****** and took delivery of it in the first week of April. Within 1 week of owning, it went straight into the mechanics to fix system issues. After owning for maybe 2 months, the timing chain & crankshaft both break. Back key way is notched to one side and needs to be welded due to poor install. How does this happen on a car barely driven and only 4 years old…The car has been getting repaired for the last 4 months and I still haven’t gotten it back because more and more issues occur. I have spent over $5,000 to repair this car and it has been in shop longer than I have been able to drive and actually own the car. My mechanic encouraged me to call this company and ask more details of inspection documentation. After calling and identifying who I am. Diego Jordan and his team, Maria Garcia, Samuel Medina, and more no longer return my calls. I have several family members who work for the Department of Motor Vehicles etc. in Houston Texas. After doing research, this car had a SIX MINUTE inspection done. HOW ONLY 6 MINUTES!!! Worst part was this inspection happened April 26th, 2023 at their second dealership. I took ownership of car in IDAHO on April 6th. THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DO INSPECTION WHEN YOU DONT HAVE THE CAR WITH YOU!!! THAT SECOND DEALERSHIP IS NOW SHUT DOWN DUE TO FALSE INSPECTIONS!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. COMPLETE JOKE.Review from ERIC B

My salesperson, Diego, was very professional and polite. I bought a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd LTZ at the end of September 2023. I had it shipped from Houston to Corpus Christi and the shipper was handled by TX AUTO GROUP via a payment by me. The guy dropped off the truck at night so I couldn't inspect the truck properly and the driver spoke Russian only, so there was a language barrier as well. The next day I noticed a few issues with the truck - windshield tint was cut up where the registration sticker was located previously, a small dent on the edge of the hood, and a dent on the rear tailgate. These were not noticeable in the pics, and Diego did not remember seeing the dents on the vehicle either. I was asked to get a few quotes on the tailgate for repair. I found repairs from $1500 to $2400. I finally found a shop that was in the $800 range. I submitted all the quotes to Diego, who forwarded them to his superiors. It is now almost 2024 and I still have not received a call or payment for this issue. I found that Diego is no longer at the dealership. I want this issue to be fixed. I have bought many vehicles and sold many too. Your word is your bond and so far TX AUTO GROUP has not proven this to me. I am very disappointed in the service and follow up.Review from Candice D

I purchased a range rover four months ago from Texas Auto Group. When I initially inquired about the vehicle, I was told it had been an accident, and at this point had hesitations about purchasing. I was, however, told by Al that the vehicle has been thoroughly inspected, completely repaired and in his exact words was like brand new. I explained that if they were able to offer a quality warranty, that would proceed with the purchase. The vehicle was over priced, even for a vehicle that had not been in an accident, but I did really like the vehicle and in fairness, it was extremely clean and nice. Four months into having the vehicle I had to take it in for repairs. At this time I was given a bill of $11,000, of which my warranty only covered $4000. The mechanic stated that these were definitely not new damages, and it appeared that these were repairs not made when the car had been in an accident. I spoke with the warranty company, who directed me to contact the car lot, as the particular damages were considered, wear and tear. They also agreed that there was no way that this damage could have been done within the four months that I had the vehicle. I called and spoke with Diego, who identified himself as a customer service manager. After several days, he informed me that there was nothing that they could do and that I needed to file this under my warranty. I explained to him that the damages were not covered, and that I was told by the warranty company that the car lot was the one liable for the damages, as these were repairs, not made initially, as I had been told. I explain to him how Al had specifically told me that the car was “ like brand new” and have been completely repaired. His response was, well I didn’t sell you the car. I can’t think of a more unprofessional response that a customer service manager could have. It’s completely disgusting to blatantly lie to customers in this way.Review from Jakob C

Currently going through the worst purchase struggle of my life. A few months back this dealership sold me a bad apple and knew exactly the shade they were dealing out. I’ve tried for about 3 weeks now to just have professionalism and solve the problem they created. Seems like money is the only thing this dealership is interested it. I would stay very far away. It’s a shame as this place was suppose to be “prestigious” turned out to be nothing more than low level bottom feeders.Ended up selling me a vehicle that could not pass emissions, forgot somehow to disclose accident history and worst of all the vehicle had broken down on me while my two year old daughter was in the back seat while smoke started to come in through the vents. Once the dealership was disclosed the information and events occurring all they did to be professional was lack accountability and sweep it under the rug.Review from Kwentaneshia W

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! If you are looking for good honest people to work with, pass this place up immediately! TX AUTO GROUP took advantage of my family by not returning our $500 deposit. The deposit was to hold the vehicle, but my credit union declined to fund the loan (because of the year). If the deposit was to hold the vehicle, and I no longer want the vehicle, why would you keep my deposit?? I hate places that take advantage of people! Thieves!!!!Review from Jimmy M

Buyer beware! I cannot express enough how much of a nightmare my experience with TX Autogroup has been. As an out-of-state buyer who purchased a car through Car Gurus app, I trusted this dealership to deliver a quality vehicle. However, from the moment I received the car, it was clear that I had made a terrible mistake. Despite the Car Gurus app giving my 2011 Panamera an "Overpriced" warning, the dealership refused to budge on the price or even offer any assistance with shipping. It should have been a warning sign, but I foolishly trusted the salesperson's assurances that the car was in proper working order. It was anything but. Within minutes of taking the car for a drive, I noticed major issues. The battery was faulty, the wheels were misaligned, and the tires were dry-rotted and of different brands, causing problems with the all-wheel-drive system. The oil pressure sensor was also malfunctioning, and 3 of the 4 door latches needed to be replaced. It cost me over $6,500 in repairs just to make the car functional, and I still need to spend another $2,000 on new tires to make it safe to drive. To make matters worse, the dealership's response to my complaints was completely inadequate. They offered me a measly $1,000 settlement, which was an insult considering the amount of money and effort I had to put into the car just to make it functional. It's clear that this dealership only cares about making money and has no interest in customer satisfaction or doing right by their customers. I would strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from TX Autogroup, especially if you are unable to inspect the car beforehand. They have no integrity or commitment to customer service, and they are only interested in scamming you out of your hard-earned money. Save your money and yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.Review from Danielle S.

IF YOU ARE READING THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, BELIEVE US!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS!! The customer service was horrible. I wanted to buy a G-wagon so I did a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). I gave them the results of it and they said they'd fix it. Oh and... I'm not a local. I'm almost 3 hrs away. After my initial visit, I was never.... called!!! An occasion maybe an email here and there but no one picked up the phone. It was 3 weeks later and I'm told everything is fixed and the vehicle will be detailed. So I drive 3 hours for nothing. Vehicle was not fixed nor detailed as I got another PPI to ensure that everything was fixed. If you need proof, hit me up for real. Once I knew that my bank was going to refund the $1000 I put down, I gave them their keys with the proof the mechanic gave me and bounced. Do you think anyone called me to this day from their company? Hell no!!! As a Veteran, it disgust me that people act like this. Is this really what I fought for? Wow!! I had to correct 2 of them for calling a client crazy in front of me. It was very unprofessional and uncouth!!! If you left a negative review, don't forget to copy and paste it to the Better Business Bureau page as well. Our voice definitely will make a difference!! Stop letting these people treat you like sh&t!!! Remember, they don't have a business without us!!
