      Our car broke down and we were stranded in *********** for two days. To say the staff at the Laquinta met our needs is a vast understatement. The compassion and caring that was shown to my wife and I was amazing. The two ******'s and **************** were unbelievable as was the General Manager. We cannot express our gratitude. Highly, highly recommend the La Quinta Hattiesburg to all.

      The absolute worst hotel stay Ive ever had. I booked this hotel for my daughters birthday. Upon my arrival, past 3:00pm the room was not cleaned & ready. When finally getting into my room, the previous people had smoked & there was ashes on the ** unit & on the window seal. When eventually taking my kids to the pool to swim, it was absolutely disgusting. There were bugs everywhere, the floor was peeling, the ceiling was peeling down as well, all the chairs were either broken or dirty. They had the door propped open with a filthy towel. Not to mention the pool room was extremely hot and made ********* fiancs eyes burn without even swimming. I thought there was a hot tub but it had been removed. I asked for pool ************* had none clean. I eventually expressed my concerns to the front desk even though I knew it wasnt the young ladys fault. She was a new employee and understood where I was coming. I booked the stay from Priceline. ********* wasnt sympathetic at all & hung up me multiple times. I took pictures of everything. Never again.

      This hotel was dirty, bugs all over, and there was a police raid in the hotel while I was staying there right next to my room.

      Me and my family booked a room for 08/17 to 08/18. ONE NIGHT! When we arrived we checked in with ******** gave him our card and he proceeds to tell us it will be a $75 deposit since we booked through a 3rd party. Well we only had the money for the room not the deposit. So my grandmother says she will help us with the deposit. He then proceeds to tell us we will need the physical card here. Well that wasnt going to happen we lived 2 hours away. Im telling him its got to be another way to handle this and he blows us off and says nope call customer service so I sat there and called customer service. While I was on the phone with customer service a man came down and was complaining about his sink being stopped up and the phone wasnt working. Im thinking to myself I dont want to stay here so I proceed to tell the guy from customer service whats going on and he tells me ********* can print off a Credit card authorization form I fill it out and have my grandmother fax it back in with her credit card information or email it. So I then tell ********* just that and he says well we would need the manager here to do that. But at first he told me it was nothing he can do. So it clearly was something he can do. We go back and forth on him printing off the dumb piece of paper. I asked him why must you be so difficult? Mm probably because we are black. I hate to say that but his whole demeanor was very dismissive from jump like he didnt want us there anyway. I cussed him out so bad he called the cops but I was gone before they got there of course. 0/10 do not recommend they are a disgrace! Diabolical behavior! No wonder they are so cheap. You definitely get what you pay for.. when I seen these reviews I chuckled inside cuz boa am I not surprised. There are so many hotels over there. We ended up at *********** across the street and you know what the lady said oh my gosh we get people that come from over there all the time. They are terrible.. *****

      Terrible customer Service!!!! Had a room reserved 8/3 with 3pm check in. Arrived at 3:08pm. None of the rooms had been cleaned from overnight. There was at least 50 people and more coming in and all waiting in lobby for rooms. Could not give us any time frame that our room would be ready. Had to get ready for a timed event and after waiting almost an hour had to find another hotel. They refuse to refund my money. They failed on their side of the reservation agreement. I was there on my end. My money should have been refunded.

      This place of business racial profiles they saw me and can badging in the room accusing of smoke I don't smoke I am allegic to cigarettes. The guy at the front desk said as long as everything was left in the room I would get a full refund then proceeded to refuse once we were out of the room proceeded to call the cops on myself and the other guest on file.

      Take the A away from this location. Evidently ******* only wants your money. Checked in7/25/24 elevator was dirty and sticky. First room had huge red stains on the floor. Moved to a second room, which smelled horrible, furniture stained and smelly, broken baseboards, mold in the tub, ceiling fan cover not flushed to the ceiling, under the bathroom sink was dust, dirt nd empty toilet paper roll. I was handed a spray from housekeeping and front desk person. Which resulted in me going to a store to purchase cleaning, febreze and odor neutralizer. There was dog f**** smashed into the carpet in the hallway and trash, which stayed the entire weekend. Its clear this site not sanitized or clean between customers. Icing on the cake we seen a baby ***** right before we left the room, checked out 7/28/24. I have placed this review on their site and ******* They should not be able to treat customers like this. Too many people are having the same experience. They need a professional cleaning service and pest control. ******* apologize isnt genuine as you read the reviews below. Shame on them, ***** hikes due to the Cincinnati Music Festival. I have stayed at this location throughout the years and there had been a drastic change.

      Sign at front desk reads, 100% smoke free rooms. FALSE advertisement!! My room smells like a frequent smoker was in there, caused my wife to cough. I also found trash AND a opened blister pack of drugs in the drawer in between the beds. I asked the front desk for a refund and they said not a full because you were in there for 20 mins. Ha! I wasnt in there for 10 mins for how dirty and smelly it was!! HORRIBLE!! I was not going to let my family stay in these awful conditions. I have proof that I called the front desk at 11:14 and I have proof when the pictures were taken at 11:17. Bad that a business wont stand behind their 100% guarantee and own up to their filthy rooms.
