This is an ongoing dispute, which I've been dealing with for 2-3 years. I have a contract with Matheson for Co2, which locks in my pricing (delivery, bulk co2 pricing, rental equipment price). Throughout the years, they increased the pricing without sending price increase notification letters, which, if sent, would allow me the chance to price around and potentially get out of the contract, for a better price. I started disputing the price increases and have been met with nothing but resistance, denial and openly ignored. I have received some credits, equal to about half of what I'm owed but am refused the rest. I submitted a termination letter, based upon the breach in contract, but so far it has been ignored. I've tried to return the rented equipment, but according to management, I'll still be charged the monthly rental fee for the bulk co2 tank until the end of the contract (which automatically renews every 5 years unless terminated).Customer response

On March 22, 2023, Matheson Gas Store removed all gas cylinder tanks our company had in possession per our request. We paid cylinder rent invoices through March 2023, however Matheson continued to bill us for cylinder rent from April through August 2023 despite our company not having any tanks in our possesion after 3/22/2023. We have requested that these invoices be cleared many times via telephone and email over the last year and our requests have been ignored. We continue to receive requests for payment for invoices we do not owe. Copies of our communication attempts via email are attached. We would like this cleared once and for all. No one from Matheson has made any attempt to correct this issue.Initial Complaint

Homestead ********** did business with Matheson-Tri Gas here in ***** for years. Address *******************************************. I picked this one to file the complaint because the mailing address on the statement is **** **** PO Box 12**** ******, **. *****. They stopped servicing our cylinders for over three years and continued to charge **. We contacted the office and ************************* came to our office in November of 2022. He said he will take care of the bill adjustment. He did not and continued to ignore our emails. I posted a goggle review and **************** the district manager contacted me and he made a promise to resolve our problem and give us an adjustment on our bill. Here we are a year later and no one has adjusted our bill and they continue to ignore my emails and phone calls. We continue to receive past due notices.
