If I could go back and buy from a different retailer I would. The process of buying the home was great. Once the papers were signed and we closed on the home it's been a whole different story. We said in the beginning we wanted septic and utility hook *** cost in our loan so we were out no extra cost out of pocket. They said sure no problem. We get to closing time and the numbers don't look right. It didn't look like enough to cover the septic and utility hook***. We questioned it and they assured us it was enough because they know how much their contractors bid for. They did have us sign a paper stating we would cover any extra out of pocket but again assured us we shouldn't have to. Well guess what? It wasn't enough so now we are out of pocket. The contractors they made it sound like they already had on hand and ready to go are non existent. Our house was delivered on January 17th 2024. We closed Decenber 27th 2023. We were told 60 days and we would be living in our home. I am now about to make my second Mortage payment with 5 days until the 60 day **** and I am not living in my home or even close to it. They are still getting bids on septic and hook ***. The one person they sent to bid on hook*** was way over our allowance leaving us ***** out of pocket. We decided to do the water hook up and septic plumbing our self so our allowance would cover the electric. Now we are being told their guy is all or nothing. He will not do only the electric hook up so they have to look for someone else. I'm paying nearly ***** a month on a house we can't even live in with no date as to when things will be done so we can move in. We have asked several times to speak to the owner, *****************************, and have been told no. This has been the worst experience buying a home for my family. Our stress and anxiety is through the roof.

We understand that construction on a new house can be a stressful process. Although the customer did close on her loan several months ago, her land required improvements, such as installation of an electrical pole that she was responsible for that was just completed yesterday, April 1, 2024. Without electricity to the land, it holds up the construction schedule for other items that require electricity. We are in constant contact with *********************** and hope to assist her in getting her project to the finish line as soon as possible.

I am rejecting this response because:

My septic has still not been completed. We were told 3 weeks over 6 weeks ago and everytime we call we are told the job they are already working on will be done today or tomorrow and we will get back with you. We never get a call back. We always have to call again for updates. The septic did not need to wait for electric to be done. The septic could have been done and once the electric was finished we would be living in the home by now. **** has gotten very ugly with me on the phone asking for answers and is now denying things that ***** and ****** told us about being able to move in at 60 days after delivery. We are still requesting to speak to the owner ***************************** or vise president *********************** and been denied.

      Regards,

      *****************************
