This below is from myself, ********************************* to the owner of Athena Beauty Bar in *****, who was to do microblading on my eyebrows on March 24, 2024. I made my first appointment on February 25th but, she kept rescheduling with excuses!The ***** location is not on BBB, but her ***** and Frisco location are on BBB.Athena,You asked me to send you a photo of my eyebrows an hour before my appointment and then you call and tell me that it's $350 on top of what i paid on Groupon, (which i do not have), because my eyebrows are sparse and i need ombre done instead! Why didn't you ask for photos a month ago?You asked me today for the 4th time right before getting this microblading, "you've had microblading done before, right"? You blew me off 4 different times canceling appointments! I take supplements and couldn't take them for a month and a half because you kept rescheduling on me! I KNEW this was a scam!!! I KNEW IT!!!No instructions before doing this microblading! This is sorry!!!I need my refund NOW!!!Athena did not care at all!I have been waiting for this and was excited!I am mad now and Groupon will only give me a credit, which I do not want because I need that money for Ombre somewhere else!The Microblading with natural hair like strokes on Groupon, I paid $116.00.Redemption code: ******** Groupon code: VS-RNFB-LZC9-KZTW-RKVTCustomer response

To whom it may concern this client got permanent tattooing eyebrows and eyeliner we have a no refund policy customer was well aware of that and signed a no refund statement was very satisfied and pleased and happy left a five star review about her brows now she just wants money back this complaint is unscrupulous we have a no refund policy plant was very well aware of that and signed a no refund form

I am rejecting this response because: I came in for micro blading ONLY and that's NOT what I got. I was never made aware of any policies AT ALL if ANY kind, nor did I EVER sign anything. I expressed to the merchant then that I was not satisfied then, and I'm still not satisfied now. I didn't submit a positive review, but a VERY negative one.

I arrived at this location @ Athena Beauty Bar; she informed me she was on break and while smacking and eating something she slapped some numbing cream on & went back on break. When she comes back we are going over my eyebrows and what I want, I asked her if I could show her an inspo pic and she then told me no and that me wanting them symmetrical was gonna cost an additional 75$. Mind you, I paid for a natural hairline stroke microblading service through *******, the whole purpose of that is to make them symmetrical and look the same on both sides. To start, she did not map my eyebrows, she took about 10 minutes and rushed me out of her salon. My eyebrows were TERRIBLE. She gave me huge thick strokes that go way above my other natural brows.I cried all the way home which was an hr and a half. I've tried getting a refund from her, and from ******* with no success, I've read many reviews and to be honest, I don't even think this lady is licensed. I would like to sue for 1, the pain and trauma, for 2 the gas and time & for 3, the amount I paid her for this terrible experience. She is unprofessional and rude, tries to get people to leave reviews while you're in front of her. This lady should not be in business, she is permanently ruining peoples face and that is so expensive to have corrected. Not to mention, 90% of the bad reviews have been from ************************************* I feel discriminated against & it is totally unacceptable.
