    My family has been renting a home from RPM Lonestar since April 2023. When we first moved in, we had no water for 18 days. It took a lot to get them to fix this. Including me retaining an attorney the prorated the next months rent for the 18 days. In between there were issues with ** not being fixed in triple digits and being told the ** is not considered an emergency in ***** and that they arent even required to provide it but the home came with central air so, yes they have to fix what the home comes with. Now, we just went 13 days without hot water, I had to call the city code compliance, the police, and I have sent numerous emails, called RPM dozens of times and always forwarded to their answering service, even during working hours. They avoid any and all accountability. I am being told its my fault I went without hot water for a family of 6! They sent 4 different plumbers and an electrician and it still isnt fully fixed. The water is either burning hot or cold, no in between. Now, rent was due today as its December 1st. I did the math to figure out the prorated rent, and paid what would be the total taking the 13 days off for not having hot water and Im being threatened with eviction if I dont pay the rent. **** is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. He will avoid you at all costs and leave his workers to try to pick up the pieces. He is a terrible business owner, and doesnt care about his tenants. All he cares about is money, and traveling. We pay our rent early and on time every single month. Dont have any issues except when things are needing to be replaced or fixed. Now its the holidays, and I know this hot water situation is going to be an on going headache. Theyre very rude. Theyre very inconsiderate of peoples time, money and lives and do not care if they leave you without water for half the month and longer. I could never do this to a family. Id work over time to make sure my business didnt look bad and to take care of paying tenants.
