I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding my experience with Transformations Medical Spa, specifically concerning an unlimited ************** hair removal package I purchased from them in 2021.In 2021, I invested $875 in a ************** hair removal package that, as per the terms at the time of purchase, included treatments for five areas and unlimited visits in perpetuity at Transformations Medical Spa. My last visit to the spa was on 11/11/2021.Recently, I reached out to the spa to book an appointment, and was informed that my lifetime package was considered inactive. According to the first representative, I signed a contract that they had on file which included a requirement to visit the spa once every 12 months to maintain the active status of my package. This was an unexpected revelation for me. It's important to clarify that I did not sign a contract, and this has been verified by a different employee who was kind enough to send over all of the forms they had on file, which include the General Health Intake form, HIPAA form, Cancellation Policy, and Laser Hair Removal Consent form.To further complicate matters, I reviewed the spa's policies on their website, as well as the terms provided for specials, and as of 09/20/2023, I found no mention of packages or specials expiring within 12 months.Despite my efforts to reach out to the spa multiple times via phone, ******** (as recommended by the receptionist), and email, I have not received any response or assistance in addressing my concerns. At this point, my primary objectives are to:1. Seek clarification on the terms and conditions associated with my package, especially the unexpected requirement for annual visits, which contradicts the originally understood terms of unlimited visits in perpetuity.2. Explore potential resolutions, namely obtaining a refund for the unlimited, lifetime package as I was only able to utilize it 6 times.

Transformations med spa in owned by Stacey *******, harmed my body in multiple ways April 26th, 2023. ******* falsely advertises that HIFU is a safe procedure that tightens skin. Her employee Keatin, performed HIFU on my neck and stomach. After approximately 4 weeks my hair fell out, due to the thyroid damage the HIFU machine caused. I had nerve damage to the face and neck causing asymmetric smiling and talking. Thankfully, with steroids, and God's grace, my nerve damage seems to have healed. However, the loose skin and fat loss is permanent. The skin on my neck and stomach is now very lax and crepe-like. The fat in my neck and face completely died off leaving me skeletal in appearance. People think I have cancer or am on meth. The fat started to die off slowly for 18 weeks. I have spent more than $9,000 in an attempt to appear less scary with hyaluronic acid fillers from a board certified plastic surgeon, who agrees that this machine has no aesthetic use that he is aware of and is used for cell death. The filler will need to be added at intervals in 1 year or less. The advertisement from ******* says HIFU tightens skin. It does the opposite. It heats up the skin, stretches and ages it, and causes permanent damage and apoptosis. Fat in our faces makes us healthy and attractive. I will now forever be disfigured and will continue to suffer the consequences at work, and in my personal life. Thanks to the greed and lies of Stacey ******* and the complete disregard of her supervising physician to monitor her behaviors. This machine is so dangerous and can only be used to hurt people. This business is unethical and is ruining people's lives. Please intervene by reprimanding the physician and shutting down the clinic. My hope is that no one else will have to be permanently damaged by Stacey ******* and Keatin *******.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Clearly you are not being truthful.  If you trust hifu method, have Kitty put it on your face and watch the fat melt away until you are skeletal.  You have ruined my entire face and life.  I don't know how you can live with yourself.  And you did not refund my entire amount.  I spent $2041.66 on your services.  You gave me a pitiful check of $1616.67   None of your "services" worked, and the HIFU caused permanent, irreversible and horrifying damage.  I have spent over $9000 in facial fillers which only help a minor amount.  I have lost my relationship, my looks. People ask me if I have cancer.  Just so you can get a couple hundred bucks. Also, my name is not *******. That may be someone else who's life you have ruined.

      Sincerely,
      ***** *****
