Had hail damage in April 2021. They replaced but never gave me a copy of the bill. The insurance company is requesting a copy or they won't renew. I have asked numerous times. They either don't respond or gives excuses. They did a good job but I need that copy.Customer response

On Jan 2022, ********************* from Natts Construction issued permit FY-22-8-BAR for the construction of an expansion to my house. For this project we agreed for Natts construction to help with the design, permit and labor for the work. For this process he insisted there were many variables and thus proposed for the work to be payed as it progressed, under the understanding that material would be charge with no **** ups.During this process the progress Natts contructions brought various subcontractors and the progress was not constant. This led to confusion around what work/material was being payed for.Around July 2022, when the structural work was being completed, I was able to identify the plumbing work under the slab was not properly done.At this time I requested for a full review of the work and costs incurred because aside from the incomplete plumbing work there total labor/material costs seem higher than previous shared estimates. Both ***** and other company representatives visited the house talk about my concerns. The only result was a partial repair of the sprinckler system that was damage during the construction. No documentation regarding costs were provided. There were various text communications asking for updates with no results until there were no more responses from Natts contruction. On Oct 2022, a demand letter was submitted with proof of receipt through a lawyer but no response to that communication was received either.Initial Complaint

We signed a contract with *********************, the owner of this business, on Nov. 21, 2022. The contract specified that he would fix the pipe in the chimney and seal the screws around the pipe in the chimney. For this, he was charging us $250. His employee put some new caulk around the old caulk that was not keeping the leak out. The first time it rained (within a few weeks of the alleged completed job), the ceiling was still leaking. I sent him a picture of it and a picture of the contract. I asked him to come back and fix the leak (Jan. 25, 2023). He did not respond, and I sent him another text on Jan. 25, 2023. I did not hear back from him. I sent him a 3rd text on Feb. 4 and told him that I had not heard from him nor seen evidence that he had come to fix the roof. I told him I wanted a refund on the roof portion of the contract ($250). He texted back yes. I texted back on Feb. 10, 2023 and told him I still hadn't received the money. He responded that he would send the money that day. I texted again on Feb. 13, 2023 that I still had not received it. I told him I was willing to take him to small claims court and file this complaint. l asked him to send the money via *****. He said he would send a family member to my husband's job and give me a partial refund. He said he wanted to keep part for the caulking that was done. I told him that was not acceptable since the job did not fix the roof. He said that would send the money tomorrow (Feb 14). I said that was not acceptable, since he has shown himself lacking in integrity on keeping his word. He ignored me and has still not paid. This was only one job he was doing for us in a series of larger jobs. He made promises that he did not keep all the way through (the entire job was supposed to take 7 business days and stretched into 8 weeks). We had a number of problems with this contractor and are no longer willing to wait for him to fulfill his promises. To date, we have paid over $14K to this contractor.
