From my initial contact with *************************** over the phone, I knew this was the company to go with. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and above all patient with me. When it came time to put things in motion, **************** was who Id directly be working with. He walked me through everything, addressed my concerns, & God love him, listened to me wine! Cant say enough about this company! Theyre wonderful and you should see my fence!

Terrible customer service. After completing the job I was notified by the city that the proper permits had not been filed with the city. Despite my asking them to do so and having screenshots from them saying it was a normal part of their procedure but that they forgot to do so this time around. I was then pressured to make a final payment for a job that wasn't even fully approved! I had to reach out to the *********** myself to get them the forms/paperwork they required. After a month of back and forth (1 permit was submitted/rejected) and learning we had to have multiple separate permits for electrical/the fence everything was approved by the city and finalized. At this point I felt comfortable releasing final payment however for insurance purposes I requested an itemized breakdown of all costs to date and the balance (due to there being a down payment) and received one for noticeably less than what my initial contract was. I paid what I was asked, given a receipt that had a $0 balance. 2 months later I was contacted about the discrepancy ($1500) at 4:45 PM on a Friday. I was then reached out to again that following Monday about their stopping by to collect. When asked why I was given the wrong invoice amount/receipt I was told that it didn't matter why but that I was contractually obligated to pay what I signed for. In trying to figure out what could've been missed on my end I asked about the permit submittal and was called a liar multiple times in regards to my requests for how the work be done. I was told that the city stopped by while building and that everything was taken care of by them during the build. When in actuality as evidenced by ******** city public record and the text thread I have it was not. Having worked in retail deployment for a Fortune100 company on over ******+ build resets with over 50 vendors globally I have never experienced such incompetence and lack of front office leadership.

Out of the hundreds of five star reviews on social media and Google, we consider this review a wash and completely irrelevant.

***** is upset at the fact that his revised "signed" contract which was was not updated in accounting and had a difference of $1700.00
plus dollars caught our attention over 2 months later in an end of the year audit. Naturally we were a bit embarrassed but expected to receive the remaining balance.

We contacted ***** and right away and apologized for the error and he pulled the "lawyer" card, which we take very seriously and proceeded to take the natural steps in matters as such.

After realizing he did'nt have a leg to stand on in the matter since there was a signed contract, email and text dialogues etc. he agreed to drop off the remaining balance to our office.

The permit situation he is speaking about is absolutely false as we have email documentation.

He also praised us after the build as we have documentation of that as well.

This review is stemming from the fact that he thought he got away with $1700.00 plus worth of work.

If we really performed so badly why are we just now receiving this review? It's pretty clear.

Whoever is reading this, God Bless and I look forward to building for you in the near future.

      Customer Response

Some additional items to note. The city came out twice once after the proper permits weren't submitted, and then again after the gas line was infringed upon. Mckinney public record clearly shows that both of these incidents were after the 11/24 project finish date. I even have the text chain from them on 11/29 stating "Typically when we get a signed quote sheet they will check and see if we need it. When we do they typically will reach out to get the copy of the survey and let you know the cost of the permit. McKinney is very inexpensive and very easy to submit." because it hadn't been done. The reason this review was submitted so far after work was completed is because of the terrible customer service I received upon their 1st collection attempt. My biggest issue with the "difference" noted above is that my account went from fully paid, to owing $1500, to owing $1700. With my extensive corporate building experience (thousands of retail doors), in addition to my experience with Nationwide insurance I had never come across an invoice that kept growing without the vendor providing proper documentation as to why.

Lastly to ensure that the proper warranty documentation, paid invoice etc. we're available for the next homeowner I asked for a printed signed receipt be provided (3/15) and after much back and forth,I was told that this could be done 4/15 after new stamps were received in which would be a full 6 months after the work was completed.
